Maison individuelle avec jardin, piscine privée et belle vue sur la belle Lagrasse

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable and homely villa on the outskirts of beautiful Lagrasse. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room (which has aircon) very comfortable. The highlight is the wonderful, secluded pool where we spent a lot of our time. It is set amongst greenery and trees and you can sit on the terrace and look out over the mountains. There are plenty of recliners for everyone and there are plenty of pool toys for children and even a table tennis table. The barbecue area on the other side of the house is also lovely and when we weren't enjoying the many restaurants in Lagrasse, spent our evenings out there.

This is an exceptional property. Certainly to best we’ve stated in. For a family with teenage boys it was ideal. Spacious & supremely practical. The rooms have good beds, there are excellent showers, a quiet snug and top class kitchen. Stocked with oils/vinegar/flour etc. (this is most welcome). The Pool is frankly perfect. The parking and location great - 2 minutes from town. (Minor) Downside - there is building work opposite. We didn’t let it trouble us.- best to know though.

The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Angele was lovely and helpful! The house was 5 mins walk from the promenade, cafés and shops. Pool area was great

We had two amazing weeks in Lagrasse and I can highly recommend this property. Roger and Angele went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had all we needed. The property is just on the edge of the village with a pleasant short walk to the main street with all the bars and restaurants. It is well supplied with great facilities. Everyone loved the pool. One of the best places we ever stayed. Will be back!

The house is homely and relaxing. Sitting on the front terrace in the evening sun with a glass of local wine was wonderful. The pool was great and the numerous sun umbrellas were greatly appreciated by all. The best thing about the house was the proximity of the village with all its lovely restaurants and interesting shops which meant our party of eight were able to wander off independently in pairs and meet up for lunches and dinners. There were also some great walks up to the cave and the Roc on the days when it wasn't so hot.

We had a wonderful week at this house, it is vey well equipped and spacious and the pool area is immaculate. The village of Lagrasse is beautiful, as is the whole area. Plenty to do and see for all ages.

Cleanliness was generally good except for one thing....waste bin hadn't been emptied in the shower room and there were some rather unpleasant deposits therein... I don't think the outdoor furniture had been wiped down in a while or any sweeping performed and the barbecue certainly hadn't been cleaned by the last guests.. Suggest that the path/steps are lit -bit tricky after dark even with the light from one's mobile... The country-side is simply lovely....we enjoyed Narbonne in particular (market is fabulous) and it was wonderfully quiet...

We rented this house in July 2014, and are very happy with our stay. We were two families and a total of nine people and it was perfect for us! The house was nicely decorated, clean and functional. It was like staying in someone's home! There was, for example, plenty of spices, etc. in the cabinets. The pool area was nice and completely private. There were also two patios where you had a great view of Lagrasse. It was only a few minutes walk to the "main road" where there were several cozy restaurants, a pharmacy, a bakery (open 7-20) and a shop. In the village, there was also the opportunity to buy handicrafts such as pottery and art. The entire village of Lagrasse is magically beautiful! A morning walk along the river is good for the soul! Just below the house was a football field and our sons went down there every night and played. There were also other children and they formed teams and had fun. The shop in town has a rather small range so you have to drive about 15-20 minutes to a big supermarket. We were also to visit some wineries nearby and they were easy to find! We had (both adults and children) a wonderful holiday and we can really recommend this house and Lagrasse!
