Maison Lumière - Appart. T2 architecte intra-muros

😢: It was very difficult, the first time, to get in and out of the building as the front door was very stiff. Neither the shower nor the washbasin in the bathroom drained properly. There was a very poor selection of saucepans. There were no tablets for the dishwasher. A message arrived on our last evening asking us to take the rubbish to bins in the nearby square. The flat was some 55 stairs up from the ground floor, it was very hot, and we were trying to pack up etc. Surely, some information about where to take the rubbish should have been available in the apartment when we arrived. Then we could have disposed of it during our stay as we went out each day..

😊: very spacious, great design & perfect location. AC in both bed and living room. Great comms with host, issues were takes seriously. Friendly host and an overall very pleasant stay. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine!. 😢: toilet flush didn’t work and wasn’t fixed throughout the stay, towels & sheets had stains. Cutlery & cups were dirty. The place just needs a better cleaning team and the bathroom should be properly cleaned :).

😊: Very close to the centre of town and Pie Place. 😢: Location is good for exploring Avignon.

😊: Good and necessary air conditioning.. 😢: No soap in shower. No dishwashing liquid. No washing machine liquid. 3rd floor location was a bit of a trial after long days walking around in the heat..

😊: Area has a good range of eateries and is very close to Les Halles, the market. Apartment spacious and comfortable. Washing machine and dishwasher and range of kitchen equipment.. 😢: No microwave Stairs are strenuous even without luggage Communication with owner slow. The owner seems not to be knowledgeable about the apartment. Sofa bed was not ready, and there was no instruction on how to open it. Spent 2 nights on the sofa before managing to open the bed. Lot of noise on the streets at night from groups of people shouting or arguing. Toilet bowl stained and shower had dirt/mould on grouting..
