MAISON MEDOCAINE AVEC PISCINE CHAUFFÉE AU SEL A 15 mn DE L'OCEAN

We enjoyed a relaxing holiday at Sylvie and Thierry's property. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming - treating us to a delightful evening of home-made pizza and cocktails on our final night - and struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still giving us space to enjoy the facilities. The property was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook up delicious meals using the fantastic produce of the region. Beaches and other attractions were easy to reach and the pool a lovely place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Thank you, Sylvie & Thierry!

My wife, two kids and myself had a great week in the Medoc region. Thierry and Sylvia were excellent hosts, showing us around the property and giving us tips on where to visit in the region. They were patient with our questions (and our pigeon French!) and always had a friendly smile and advice for us. The accommodation is superb (superb clean, spacious, and as advertised). The pool was amazing - perfectly heated, always spotlessly clean and such a peaceful spot in a very rural location - but 15-20 mins drive from all the main beaches, lakes and towns. We had a great week and even had the honour of Thierry and Sylvia inviting us to a pizza dinner on our last night at the pool bar (which has a log-fired pizza oven). Fabulous!

The villa is incredible and the outdoor space was beyond our expectations! The pool, seating area, bar area was all amazing and our children loved being able to swim all times of the day and evening. All facilities were provided for inside the villa which was great and it was immaculately clean. Thierry and Sylvie went beyond our expectations for owners of the villa, inviting us for drinks and pizza with them. They have a truly amazing set up here and we are so glad to have met them. The area itself is lovely, we went on Thierrys recommendation for where to visit and Montelivet market was brilliant, Plage du pin sec, and Soulac de mar also. We would highly recommend this villa, it will not disappoint!

Merci aussi de nous avoir fait découvrir des produits locaux ainsi que de bonnes adresses. Merci surtout pour votre spontanéité et votre gentillesse. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans la maison de Sylvie et Thierry. La maison est parfaitement équipée, très propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine est très grande, éclairée et chauffée, parfaite pour faire des longueurs et même se baigner la nuit. Les enfants se sont vraiment bien amusés, ils ne voulaient plus partir! Quant au tour de quad surprise pour les enfants je n'en parle même pas! Sylvie et Thierry sont des hôtes attentionnés, généreux, très prévenants qui ont eu à coeur que notre séjour se passe au mieux. On a adoré les apéros spontanés et les pizzas délicieuses au feu de bois concoctées par Thierry. J'ai du mal à retourner à la pizzeria depuis! La maison se situe dans un endroit calme avec même une ferme et des vaches à proximité. La plage et le marché de Montalivet (un très grand marché, peu onéreux avec stands de degustation d'huîtres miam!) sont juste à 15 min en voiture. Tout est vraiment parfait, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés! Nous, nous reviendrons !

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Gaillan.. Des propriétaires très accueillants, chaleureux. Nous avons d'ailleurs passé une soirée avec eux qui fut très agréable et conviviale. Pour la maison, tout le confort est là.. Des choses à changer mais ils y pensent.. Et puis le caime...pour des nuits paisibles.. .

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances. Tout est réuni pour un séjour reussi : piscine chauffée, environnement naturel, commerces et plages à proximité et surtout des hôtes plus que sympathiques. Nous sommes pas près d'oublier cette semaine de vacances. merci encore.

What a wonderful place to spend a lazy summer holiday. We have enjoyed every minute smack in the middle of the Medoc region. The house + pool was simply magnificent and the owners utterly lovely and welcoming. Ocean nearby, plenty of great wines and fantastic weather. Horse riding stables nearby and lots of sightseeing to do. We would definitely recommend!
