😊: nothing like, super bad experience.. 😢: Worst stay ever — avoid this place! This apartment was a disaster from start to finish. The washing machine was covered in mold, reeking so badly I couldn't even use it. There was no fan, no AC, nothing — the place turned into an oven in the heat. Opening the windows at night just invited swarms of insects in, but keeping them shut meant suffocating in the heat. An absolutely miserable choice to be stuck with every single night. The dishwasher still had another guest's dirty dishes in it. The host clearly didn't bother cleaning before handing the place over — not even the most basic standard of hygiene. But the most infuriating part came after checkout: the host deducted €159 from my €1000 damage deposit for "cleaning fees" — fees that were never mentioned anywhere on the booking page. This so-called cleaning policy only surfaced after I'd already paid. I've booked through Booking.com many times, and this is the first time I've ever been asked to mop the floors and clean up hair myself. Normally it's just take out the trash and shut the windows. This time they dug up a list of fine-print rules to justify the charge, and when I pushed back, the host simply claimed I had "already agreed to the terms." Let's call this what it is: a deposit scam. Charge a huge deposit upfront, bury a pile of "cleaning requirements" somewhere you'd never think to check, and if you don't read every last clause, they help themselves to your money. On top of a dirty, stifling, poorly equipped apartment, this is a completely unacceptable experience. Avoid at all costs..
