Maison Normandie

😊: Location was very nice,not too far from the ferry port and train stations.. 😢: No privacy partition for upstairs rooms,centre window was locked and rooms were so hot we had to sleep downstairs, mattresses were badly stained throughout, one bathroom with limited hot water and being 8 of us it took ages for us to shower and get ready for the day,it stated it could accommodate 10 people but not sure how that works as we couldn't get by with 8 of us. if there was a fire downstairs we'd never get out as didn't see any smoke alarms either. had to clean everything like cutlery and plates as we're dirty,TV we could use as very confusing, bins were half full before we got there and tried our best to recycle but difficult to do so,no lighting outside as my wife took a fall on the steps as couldn't see as light was so dim on garage,no outside lighting either. burnt my arm trying to light the BBQ as under closer inspection it was rusted out and the gas exploded trying to light it ,we were told by owner it was just a handle broken but found it was beyond use.all the pictures on BOOKING .COM Didn't match ,socket was having off the wall upstairs with wires showing which if had small kids it could have been nasty.i tried to sort these problems out with owner when got back as wasn't happy with the accommodation and wanted a partial refund but got a very negative reply from them.We should have left the property the minute we found problems as it ruined our stay as from day to day it became a struggle. Don't recommend this property. In all the places we've stayed in france this has got to be the worst I'm afraid..
