Un séjour bien reposant au coeur de la campagne aixoise... Annie nous a ouvert les portes d' un univers qui fleur bon la provence ... un lieu qui nous a touché énormément par son histoire et surtout qui a une âme ! Nous sommes rentrés nostalgiques. C'est notre plus belle expérience de vacances à ce jour... Merci pour tout Annie ...
Sehr schönes Anwesen, toller Pool und vor allem sehr nette hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das quirlige Dorf Calas und die Nähe zu Aix en Provence ( mit dem Bus erreichbar ) taten ein Übriges für einen wunderbaren vierwöchigen Urlaub.
First of all: We had a great time in this lovely cottage and Annie was a perfect host (though we never met in person)! We loved the pool, the garden, the entire location. Concerning the cottage itself: - The infrastructure is quite comprehensive, and the whole place looks like the owners use(d) it for themselves from time to time. The building resides not far away from the inhabited main house (in contrast to the pool house not visible in the current picture set) in a huge private and gated garden. - Parking is absolutely not an issue here. In fact it is the perfect homebase for trips to all those famous Provence landmarks and places. We used the car mostly, but one time also the train (from Simiane, approx. 10min by car) to visit Marseilles. - WiFi is available and generally works, but don't expect high bandwidth, jitter-free broadband ;) (Cellular reception was good.) But there are other things to enjoy here, and this might in fact add to your relaxation. - One last tip though: better not forget mosquito repellent!
La "maisonnette" (pas si petite !) est aussi joliment décorée que confortable, et très propre. Nous y avons passé deux très bonnes semaines, en particulier grâce à la grande piscine attenante rien que pour nous. A 20km du vieux port seulement et 7km du marché typiquement provençal (ah ces accents chantants...) de Gardanne. Difficile de trouver ce qui manquerait : peut-être une chaise haute pour bébé ? Un petit lave-vaisselle (on devient fainéant...!) ? Vraiment, allez-y, vous en serez ravi(e). Merci Annie !
The house is in a very large garden with a pool and large pool house. The site is in woodland and like all the properties on the road has lots of well kept space. It is in excellent condition and half way between two villages. Cabries is ancient and mostly on a hill top, whereas Calas has all the bustle of a traditional French village. The owners were incredibly helpful and even booked us a place at a restaurant they were familiar with on our first night. Even though there were only two of us the place could accommodate a family of four in comfort. I would recommend it to anyone
Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de ce séjour avec sa maison, sa grande terrasse, son jardin mais également sa splendide piscine. Un grand merci pour l’accueil.
Très bien accueillis, villa corresponant à l'annonce et aux photos. Le parc est bien entretenu ainsi que la piscine, la villa est bien agencée.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison. Des hôtes accueillants. Endroit calme et reposant. Merci à Annie et sa mère.
