The property is first of all, NOT in Bagnere de Bigorre but in Ossun ez Angles which is 15 min drive away from Bagneres and a bit cut off from shops etc, BUT this did not bother us since the house is quite high up on the mountains, has amazing views - we used to eat on the large table outside enjoying the scenery. The property was very clean and everything works well. The owner was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The house is spacious and has a large garden with a little playground - this was great for the kids. There are also clothes lines outside for hanging the clothes. Upstairs there is a cosy living area with TV and the owner provided playing cards and board games for the rainy evenings. We loved staying in this house and it is great value for money. I would definitely recommend it. Having a car is a must though. Places we enjoyed visiting - Lac du Payolle, Gavarnie, Lourdes, Pic du Jer, Parc d'Animaux de Pyrenees, amongst others. A bit of a let-down was Parc de Demi Lune.
