Maison semi troglodyte

😊: We love the feel of the house half undeground. It felt like experiecing living in the small village, and the old nice features were kept while all modern comfort was added. There is a beautiful fireplace you can use and wood provided. The host is very nice. There was a garage provided and that was very good with the freezing nights. It is very handy to get to Castle of Chenonceau and the ZooParc Beauval. And there is a cool trogloodyte site to visite right next door. 😢: Towels a little larger would be nice indeed..

😊: Our stay in the Bourré troglodyte home was one of our favourite holiday stays. The home itself is beautiful and in a great location for visiting the many nearby chateau. With great facilities too, we had everything we needed. From the very outset, Laurent made sure we had everything we needed and gave us the best local knowledge of the area. Thank you Laurent!.

😊: Laurent, our host, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us all the information we needed, did our laundry for us and left sparking wine, beer and bottled water in the fridge for us when we arrived. Indeed, the kitchen was quite well stocked: there was tea, coffee, sugar, salt and cooking oil, for example. We also loved the unusual character of the semi-troglodyte house. Having two toilets meant that there were no uncomfortable moments. Finally, the view from the window of the River Cher, with the railway line in front, was great too.. 😢: We can't think of any criticisms..
