Maison spacieuse dans la cité médiévale de Cahors

Wonderful location in close proximity to great restaurants and easy 5 min walk into the center of town. Very well equipped - even with soap powder for the washing machine! Host was very responsive to all communication. On the down side this property is on 3 floors with some steep steps to the upper floors so perhaps not suitable for those with bad hips or knees.

Cécile is dynamic, friendly, entrepreneurial, internationally savvy, and possessed of very good taste in practical furnishings. Her atmospheric and cozy short-term let property La Maison Roty (one of several) is located in Cahors’s sublime medieval residential quarter, a hop skip and a jump away from the mighty Lot valley riverside and a fascinating little walk from the town’s center. It would have been good to learn in advance that this upside-down house is arrayed over three levels. What a bittersweet thing it was to leave for more permanent quarters in Toulouse!

Please ignore the rating re: winery experience. I was unaware of a winery experience and cannot comment on it.The rental was beautiful, in a central but quiet location. The owner was responsive and friendly and was there when we arrived to check in. Everything was clean. The kitchen was thoughtfully supplied. There were hooks and hangers and places to tuck away your stuff.Note that you need to be able to handle stairs for this rental. It is spread out over three floors and the stairs are quite steep.
