Maison sur le Bassin d'Arcachon

😊: outdoor cooking, hot tub, garden, lots of space in the house, loads of toys for the kids, air conditioning, proximity to lake, great beaches, weather, friendly owners, secure for kids.

😊: The house is amazing. It was so hot when we were there (39c) but there is AC in every room and it was very comfortable. The lake is a 5 min bike ride / drive. Same for the supermarket and the excellent boulangerie. The lake is great for little kids as it is deep until 50 meters. Dune du plait is a world wonder (go early). I will say it is mosquito central so bring your spray. I would stay again.. 😢: Mosquitos so bring your spray and raid coils burners..

😊: Well equipped house with a pleasant garden, several different indoor and outdoor sitting spaces which is great for a group of adults, helpful but unobtrusive owners next door. Lake beaches about 20 mins walk or v short drive are great for cooling off or for small children.. Nice evening music events by the lake on some evenings in summer. 😢: No dislikes, but worth being aware that Cazaux is a very quiet little place - great for hanging out at the house or lakeside with friends/family, and the occasional meal out (which suited us), but if you required wider facilities, they are a bit of a drive away..
