Maison traditionnelle corse de charme

Si vous recherchez le calme loin des sentiers battus, au milieu des oliviers avec vue sur la Méditerranée qui miroite à vos pieds, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. Nous avons adoré notre semaine ici et quittons à regret ce havre de calme et de beauté, où l’on se douche le matin en regardant les milans tournoyer dans la montagne et la mer scintiller au loin. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, tout est à la fois beau et simple et procure un sentiment d’apaisement. Les environs regorgent de coins authentiques à explorer. Accueil très chaleureux.

La semaine dans cette maison et la nature tout autour a été un plaisir à chaque heure, de la lumiere du matin sur la terrasse á la pleine lune montante. La vue sur les montagnes, le lit de jardin sous des oliviers dansants, le calme absolu, magie nocturne accompagnée des oiseaux, des criquets (et des sangliers). Les balades à la plage le matin (20'), le dejeuner dans des restaurants á proximité et les soirees 'chez soi' - parce qu'il n'y a rien de plus beau - tout allait bien pour nous! Et la belle surprise: Michel et Florence étaient les meilleurs hotes que l'on puisse souhaiter: chaleureux, servitables et genereux (et patient avec mon francais). Reconnaissant pour ce temps passé ici!

Alles perfekt! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Lage ist einfach ein Traum, wunderbarer Blick in alle Richtungen und herrliche Ruhe. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toll auch das Bett unter den Bäumen um nachts den Sternenhimmel zu betrachten. Der nahegelegene Strand war auch im August sehr leer und mit den seitlichen Felsen gut zum Schnorcheln geeignet. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!!

We spent a wonderful week: The house was charming, well designed, comfortable and clean. The sound of the ocean was a contant companion to beautiful views of mountains and sea, and startling star filled skies. The location was great — a short drive for dinner, a short walk to a sandy beach, close enough for daily excursions to mountains and other towns and beaches. Our hosts — Michele and Florence— were nothing short of perfect — warm, generous and helpful. All in all, it was a great place to explore and relax. I would love to be able to come back again.

Parfaite pour 4, cette petite maison rénovée avec tout le confort moderne mais dans un style brocante rustique nous a permis de passer une excellente semaine au mieux des oliviers, à 5mn en voiture de plages encore sauvages : 1 couple dans la petite chambre en pierres toute mignonne, 1 grand ado à chaque étage de la maison. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil !

My husband, I, and a friend stayed in Michel and Flo's Demonceaux's charming Stone Shepard's house end of August 2017. The house and the added guest room are decorated with taste and simplicity. The surrounding grounds have beautiful Wild Olive trees with a view of the Sea in the far distance. Michel and Flo are perfect hosts furnishing anything that one may need. The house is only 10 minutes from the Cargese or Sagone area for food shopping etc. The beach in front of the Rental house is savage and perfect.The only issue for us was the intense heat wave gripping Europe that week. The AC did not work that well ( I do not like AC but it was very hot in the top room)but Michel said he will replace the Two Air Conditioner after the 2017 season. Also the WIFI is pretty weak but for my hsuband he was able to connect to his 3G telephone ( of course, he was working!) The house has stairs that are very steep and probably not best suited for those who are too young or have disabilities. The best feature was the outdoor shower surrounded by the Wild olive trees! One may need a day or two to really relax and let nature be your guide. Michel and Flo Demonceaux's Stone house is really a world away from one's stressful city life. Don't hestitate, go and experience it for yourself!
