😊: Beautiful location. Quiet. Nostalgia. Fabulous rooms. Welcoming & helpful neighbours. Easy access to main autoroute. Excellent walking / riding routes.. 😢: Hard to locate as driveway entrance was so overgrown we couldn't find the box for about 10 mins. The postcode sent us to a location 18km away!!!.

😢: I booked the place for a one-night in transit for holiday. Nowhere on the website was mentioned that there are no sheets or towels. mr Thibaut sent a message in French straight after the booking mentioning this. However, this was not picked up by me Spoke to Thibaut on the phone some hours prior to arrival to find this out. he promised I was able to cancel and no fees would be charged. Fast forward: I had to lodge a complaint with Booking as he didn't accept the fee waiver through Booking. Booking then offered to split the cost, which is unacceptable considering 1) Thibaut's promise to refund 2) the fact that I would have never booked this house in the first place if the website would have properly disclosed the fact that there are no sheets/towels. Thibaut is hiding behind the fact he did notify me. However, this is putting the horse behind the carriage. Thibaut elaborates on what is present at his lodge: from iron to board games, from a flatscreen TV to Nintendo....but apparently one cannot expect sheets and towels????? Booking.com is letting me down here as I had to book another place but is not willing to properly compensate (host is still pocketing 50% for doing nothing)..
