Maison Vigneronne de charme labellisée 3 cl vue imprenable dans village médiéval

Das Haus war toll.Es fehlte an nichts. Grosszügige Räume. Die Terrasse zum Verweilen , Aussicht unvergesslich schön, aud dem Haut Languedoc . Sehr erholsam, da sehr ruhig. Boulangerie zu Fuss erreichbar. Frankreich wie man es erleben sollte. Ein Winzerhaus mit viel Charme. Wenn wir wieder zum Languedoc fahren sollte, dann werden wir versuchen wieder dieses Haus zu bekommen. Umgebung, Natur, Strand, Seen, Flüsse und traumhafte Städtchen. Nicht zu vergessen , die freundliche Besitzerin, fühlt man sich gut aufgehoben. Wir bedauern , nicht 3 Wochen gebucht zu haben.

After charming mails, we were warmly welcomed to this historic family home. The house has been in the family for generations, and still retains character and features documenting the family from Verdun onward. It is located an easy walk from the village for all your needs, yet remains very quiet at night. Staying in the property is very restful, as the tiled floors keep it cool, and there are ample windows etc. to open. It's roomy. Plenty of space for probably six guests. Three beds, all of double size, spacious salon, bathroom, office room, kitchen and the loggia leading to an outside first floor terrace. The garage is beneath, and very roomy. It would probably accommodate two family cars. (Wine press included!) The loggia is thankfully at the rear of the property and hence is shaded from the midday sun, so stays comfortable. There is a small garden with olive trees across the road at the back. Lastly we must mention the view. The panorama from the loggia across the valley to St. Genies, Magalas, Puimisson and beyond is wonderful. A delight as weather moves across, constant entertainment from traffic and distant people, a platform for watching birds, sunrise, and bats at night. A huge asset. We loved our stay - we think you will too.

Wir haben 18 sehr schöne Tage in Murviel les Beziers verbracht. Das Haus liegt in einer netten Kleinstadt mit ca. 3000 Einwohnern. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lidl und "U") sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Um die Ecke gibt es ein Restaurant. Bademöglichkeiten findet man in ca. 20 min im Fluss bei Roquebrun und in ca. 25 Minuten am Meer. De Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und das Haus war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Praktisch war auch, dass man das Aut in der Garage unterhalb der Wohnung abstellen konnte. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Südfrankreich und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

We had a lovely week in the house. It’s really spacious and comfortable and well equipped. We loved to sit both on the terrace with an open view and in the garden with barbeque. Easy parking in front of the house (There is also a garage). Thank you so much!

Es handelt sich um ein altes Winzerhaus, das von den Vorfahren der heutigen Eigentümerin errichtet wurde. Daher ist es eine ganz besondere und persönliche Unterkunft, in dem die Spuren der (Weinbau-) Vergangenheit noch zu sehen sind. Viele Familienfotos, die im Haus hängen zeigen, dass es sich nicht einfach nur um eine Ferienunterkunft handelt. Der Kontakt bei der Übernahme und Rückgabe des Hauses, die von der Tochter der Eigentümerin übernommen wurde, war sehr herzlich, nett und persönlich. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist grandios (wenn nur abends die Mücken nicht wären...). Zum Haus gehört ein sehr schöner Garten mit alten Olivenbäumen und vielen Oleandersträuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Badestellen im Orb bei Reals. Ein Besuch im nahe gelegenen Beziers lohnt auf jeden Fall. Der mit dem Auto in etwa 30 Minuten zu erreichende Strand in Serignan Plage ist schön und hat sehr feinen Sand. Ein guter Bäcker und ein Supermarkt sind in etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Murviel-les-Beziers selbst ist ein ursprünglicher Ort, der nicht touristisch geprägt ist. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit äußerst netten Vermietern, denen es nicht nur "um das Geschäft" geht, sondern denen es vor allem ein Anliegen ist, dass sich ihre Gäste in ihrem Haus wohlfühlen. On sent que cette demeure familiale n'est pas juste une "maison à louer", on sent qu'elle vit toute l'année et cette sensation est très agréable à l'image de cette vaste maison de ville où chacun à trouver sa place, de nos enfants à notre grande chienne. Cette vieille bâtisse est très fraiche et en cas de coup de chaud, la climatisation est là. Il manque peut-être un brin de modernité au niveau de certains équipements (fer à repasser, lave-vaisselle) et le jardin n'est pas attenant donc difficilement exploitable mais l'ensemble est parfaitement cohérent et agréable avec cette grande terrasse et un jardin d'hiver tout aussi agréable. La maison est située idéalement dans un village très sympathique à 30mn de la mer et proche de nombreux sites à visiter. Bref, une maison au top et un super accueil de la propriétaire qui a su garder le sourire malgré nos 4h de retard sur l'horaire envisagé.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Madame Ramondenc's house in Murviel-les-Beziers. There was lots of room to enjoy including space for a bedroom each for the girls. The property has the most lovely balcony with views over the fields and a really bright and peaceful room to relax in. Kitchen facilities were great and I was able to cook some lovely food from the local market and from nearby supermarkets. There is a large garage under the property so we could put the car away in the evening. Location was great and it was only 30 mins drive to the beach - we recommend Serignan Plage. Madame Bernadette was wonderful and gave us lots of ideas for exploring including drives up into the hills as well as down towards the sea. All in all a really fabulous house in a lovely location and easy to access everything you need from there. We would love to stay again.

The house is spacious and was easy to find in Murviel-les-Beziers. Stunning views from the balcony - we saw a hawk circling. Bernadette was very welcoming and helpful in explaining where everything was, how to operate the shutters and when to put out the rubbish. She was also very accommodating when we arrived early and went to some trouble when we arrived at short notice. The history of the house is touching in respect to her ancestors which added to the atmosphere. The Mediterranean garden is pretty and a great place to sit in the shade! The use of a garage is very useful but there is also ample parking behind the house. Everyone we spoke to in the town were friendly and welcoming. The tourist centre was very helpful in providing us with maps of the area. There is certainly plenty to see and the beaches are well worth visiting. As the house sleeps six the lack of large cooking saucepans is a disadvantage as is no large casserole dish which was brought to Bernadette's attention. Some of the crockery needed cleaning before being used. We advised Bernadette to put up a sign to indicate caution when stepping out of one of the bedrooms.
