Maisonnette de Jardin

😊: This is a lovely, well equipped accommodation set in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a natural garden that has been left to itself. You might see a tortoise or hear a hedgehog as you dine outside. There are books, games and coloring supplies for children and adults. The owners are so kind and share their enthusiasm for their neighborhood and Marseille. We were treated to homemade apricot jam and could harvest all the apricots we could eat! We highly recommend Maisonette du jardin for your stay in Marseille!. 😢: No regrets!.

😊: The host Gilles is a kind and gentle person with a warm welcome. The Maisonnette is tucked away in the garden of the property and is private, with a lovely little seating area. Its nicely furnished and homely, comfortable and well equipped. It's a haven of peace, perfect after a day out in the city. It is in a residential area, but the nearest supermarket and an excellent boulangerie are a short walk away. It's a 12-15 minute walk to the metro which only takes 3 or 4 stops into the centre. For a city stay, it was remarkably restful. Highly recommended.. 😢: Everything was great for me. Just a tiny thing, the overhead lighting in the living area is quite bright, good for cooking, but it would be nice to have a floor lamp with softer light for relaxing..
