Lovely house. The pool was a delight after sightseeing in the morning.Quite easy to find. Wi-fi Good. Laura (the cleaning lady) very helpful and the host- Catherine- replied extremely quickly to any emails. Would highly recommend.

Une très belle résidence séparée en 3 lieux différents donnant sur un grand jardin magnifique et une grande piscine. Les photos sont conformes à la réalité nous avons passé avec mes amis une super semaine de vacances.

Extraordinaire propriété au milieu des vignes. Calme absolu, piscine très grande et agréable! Le fait d’avoir plusieurs maisons est très apprécié des ado qui jouissent d’une certaine indépendance. Les jardins (oui, au pluriel) sont splendides, remplis de fleurs et d’arbres de multiple essences. Il y a un petit côté « Alice au pays des merveilles » avec les nombreux recoins et passages au milieu de cette végétation! Un vrai petit paradis…. Même les chiens se sentaient en vacances! Seul bémol: la cuisine est trop petite et peu pratique. Les araignées sont nombreuses!

Superb pool and charming outside areas. Kitchen well equipped but small for size of propeprty and toilet arrangements for main house bedrooms less than good. Would stay there again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday with our 3 adult sons and 2 of their girlfriends, plus our dog! Catherine and her husband were there to greet us and then we had the houses to ourselves. The arrangement of the big house, little house and annex room gave us all some privacy whilst having lovely space to be together. We tended to use the main house kitchen for all food storage and preparation and the little house kitchen for drinks :-) We BBQd outside every evening and sat in the lovely space between the properties. Plenty of hot water and no complaints about the showers, bath, toilet etc. The pool area is fabulous with lots of space and lovely gardens surrounding. We were able to pick Catherine's tomatoes and courgettes too. The shady covered area adjacent to the pool, we didn't use much as it needed some cushions, but nice for during the day if you needed to get out of the sun. The houses are full of charming ornaments, some of which we moved out of the way during our stay! We didn't want to break anything. We walked into Bourgueil numerous times through the vineyards. About 25 mins, a lovely walk. The market on a Tuesday is worth a visit, selling everything from live chickens to clothing! We bought tasty cooked food, olives and cheese. There is a huge Hyper U supermarket 5 minutes drive away. It absolutely stocks everything, food of a really good quality and wonderful local wines. We walked in the vineyards in the evening with our dog and the starry skies were beautiful. We would love to go back!

This is a great spot with some great buildings within easy reach of Bourgueil. We had a very good holiday. The buildings are recently renovated although the antique furniture wouldn't be to everyone's taste and part of the complex still seems to be WIP. There is a great pool and garden.The site says pet friendly which is true up to a point.

The 2 houses and ensuite bedroom suited us perfectly as my sisters family of 4 had the big house (2 bedrooms 1 bathroom), Dad and I had the small house (1bedroom ensuite) and my brother in laws mum had the ensuite. All facing into the lovely garden with a fabulous big lime with a table for breakfast under it, and other smaller trees for shade. We loved the pool which we used every day to the full. It is big enough to to do lengths and have inflatables and has a proper deep end. The facilities were comfortable and individually furnished. Like someones home not just a holiday let. The cooking and dinning facilities were adequate. We congregated in the big house for meals; very French I presume! The town near by had good food and enough nearby places to visit, chateaus, Surmur etc... Our hosts came back one night in the 2 weeks we were there and gave us a tour of their wine cellar with tastings, lovely people very interesting. I'd definitely stay there again.
