Manoir Bellevue

😊: Fabulous , quintessential manor house in a wonderful location on the side of a small hill overlooking the beautiful village of Duravel - and was an easy walk to bakery and small local store . House was spacious with plenty of room for our party of 8 adults . Great areas outside to relax with a drink of local wine . Inside decor was superb and fully equipped kitchen made for some great meals at night . Matt was a great host and welcomed and briefed us very well on arrival.. 😢: Some working instructions for some appliances eg. washing machine and oven would be helpful . Also as our group of 8 stayed for a week a change of towels would have been welcomed mid week as there is very limited clothesline space .We didn’t use dryer as you can only run one appliance at a time ..

The fridge, dishwasher, cooker, swimming pool filter didn’t work properly. There were only 5 sun beds for 6 guests. Each guest got 1 small inadequate towel. The garden hadn’t been touched, if at all, in many months. Plants were dead, weeds everywhere but especially bad on the rear terrace, where we ate in the evening and around the swimming pool. The whole place had an air of neglect and disinterested.
