MANOIR DE LA BASTIDE Septfonds 22 personnes

We had a good time. The house does not really sleep 21 unless you are happy with 5 people + sleeping in each room! Septfonds is not a very nice town but has the basics. Lots of nice places within 10-15 minutes drive though. Pool is slightly cold in mid-August and not perfect for kids. House is nice and quirky and beds were comfortable. Good dining area outside. Internet not very good. Claude was very welcoming and check-in / check-out was easy. So not perfect but we still really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely large house with traditional features. Lots of space for us all. House is well equipped. Garden area has mix of sun and shade as well as the pool which is bigger than we expected from the photos and was a welcome necessity given the temperature during the week of our stay. It was well used and was a cooling treat enjoyed by all of the family. Village is lovely with local bars, bakeries and a market. Lots of fantastic medieval places to visit nearby as well as canoeing along the river. We had an excellent time.
