😊: Very neat and clean house with all the amenities for a family with children. In a convenient location for visiting many sights from Colmar to Strasbourg. We will definitely come back again.

😊: A very cozy and well equipped gîte, in a small village but close to all amenities and close to both Strasbourg and the mountains. I liked the fact that the gîte used to be an old barn which qas nicely refurbished. It has all amenities you need for a stay: kitchen, spacious living room, two bedrooms and a modern bathroom. The toilet is not on the floor of the bedrooms but for me this was not a problem. There is ample of street parking available and the street is quiet. There is also a terrace in front of the entrance but since it was cold, I did not use it. As I had an issue with the TV which did not display the channels, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is lovely and very helpful. Really recommend a stay in the gîte!!!. 😢: Only point to be aware of is that there are two gîtes next to each other and depending on the neighbours, you can hear their noise through the wall. I had the pleasure of a couple who was talking loudly and so i could follow every word of their conversation. But as said, with considerate neighbours, this may not happen :-).

😊: Easy to check in and out. House looks cute, with a cozy atmosphere in its details, and it has plenty of space (we were three adults). Fully equipped kitchen including oven and dishwasher, and plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. Bathroom was spacious with a shower, sink and washing machine. Nice outdoor seating area, although not completely private (other guests/host walked by a few times, we didn't really mind- the other apartment's seating area is a bit more private). We didn't see the host much but she was friendly when we did and translation via phone worked fine where needed. Location was decent in a quiet town, a car is necessary for groceries and to visit locations nearby.. 😢: Wifi was a bit choppy at times. Cleanliness was OK in my opinion but one of my friends is a bit of a germophobe so she pointed out a bit of dust under the bed, some finger prints on the cabinets... Nothing that would've bothered me otherwise- but felt like I should mention it for her :) Not really a dislike, but rather a note: a page on the wall details that trash should be separated for recycling, with 'more info on the next page', but there was no next page and no separate bins (there are separate containers outside, but a bin/box for recycling in the house would be convenient, or maybe just extra bin bags).
