Nestled in between two beautiful villages Lacoste and Bonnieux, we had a wonderful week in Jean Baptiste’s holiday villa. We would heartily recommend for one or two families (up to 10 people) for a relaxed holiday. We very much enjoyed the wide views on Lacoste as well as the Mont Ventoux. At the same time the lovely pool and house are secluded from any roads. The house is well appointed, everything you could need is there (you can also use available basics such as olive oil, salt, dishwasher cubes etc) and it is very clean. The bedrooms are large and each has its own bathroom, what a luxury! Communication with the owner was excellent from booking to check-in and check-out. Linens and towels are provided. Jean Baptiste lives next door - if you are worried about that in terms of privacy, don’t be: The houses are fully separate and private. You will not regret a stay at Villa Bonnieux!

We had such a great time! The house is located between Lacoste and Bonnieux and in close proximity to a lot of the most beautiful places of the Provence. From the terrace, you'll have an incredible view of Lacoste. The host is friendly, extremely helpful and uncomplicated. He really tried to make our stay as relaxed as possible. The house itself is beautifully renovated and it's obvious that a lot of thought and care went into the interior design. It is spacious in all regards, the kitchen is well supplied and the pool is great and provides ample space for sunbathing as well as a place in the shade. We'll definitely come back!

This was an amazing holiday, it was a mixed bunch of ages but we all kept ourselves doing what we wanted. The house is amazing and modern but with the old rustic charm still within the old house. The swimming pool was the main attraction for the youngsters. It was big enough for all our party, and when the temperature dropped Jean soon put this right. Lacoste is an amazing place to visit, but all the surrounding area was beautiful. Great holiday xx

We really had a great time with beatiful view to Lacoste, Bonnieux and the Mt Ventoux. Everthing in the house work out great except the warm water for 8 people. It wasn't sufficient on 2 days, next time we might ask the owner to improve. But the rest was just perfect.

If you're looking for a home that has the charm of Provence yet the modern conveniences of today, Mas in Bonnieux is perfect. This villa looks out over two hilltop medieval villages, vineyards, and mountains. It's a great location to begin day trips to the many villages, markets and local attractions. Many days we didn't want to leave. The closest towns are a short drive away and there are old trails that make a walk to town a real adventure. Our family of kids and adults had a trip of a lifetime and the owner, Jean Baptiste was extremely helpful and even brought us grapes during the harvest.

We were three couples (60+) exploring the western Luberon. The house was perfect, furnished in a modern style, clean and well maintained. A good kitchen. It is spacious, and would certainly suit five couples. The terrace and pool are lovely. We went out visiting a different village every morning, and returned after lunch to spend a lazy afternoon by the pool, followed by a BBQ most evenings. Jean Baptiste speaks very good english and was always available to answer requests for advice. Although he lives next door, the design of the house and garden is such that you are very private. The house is in a beautiful and very quiet location with lovely views. Lacoste is a walk away with a couple of pleasant bar/restaurants. The house is particularly well positioned from an exploring perspective, so Lacoste, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lourmarin, Goult, Apt, Gordes and Roussillon are all within a half hour drive. Overall a lovely, relaxing holiday, which we hope to repeat. Particular recommendations: Lourmarin market, Le sentier des Ochres at Roussillon, Lacoste and Goult. Leclerc is good supermarket on edge of Apt.

My sister and my brother with their families joined me and my wife at a beautiful spot in the Luberon. The hosue with its exceptional view to Lacoste, Bonnieux and the Mt Ventoux at the horizon was one reason for having a great time. All bedrooms have their own bath, which made it every convenient for everyone. The commodious living room and the facilities of the kitchen offer everything to feel your self at home, cooking included :). The landord lives next door in case you need something, but doesn't bother at all. WiFi works only in the living room this is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, if you don't need WiFi you'll rent a 5 star house. Enjoy the Luberon like we did!
