Mas des Amis, Eygalières: charme, grande piscine, parc, tennis, oliviers

We had an amazing stay at Mas L’Avocat this August. Everything exceeded our expectations. The property and house are stunning - the pictures don’t do them justice. The host, Lidia, and everyone that we interacted with at the property was lovely, communicative and helpful. We had 4 generations of family and close friends stay with us during our visit and I cannot imagine a more special place to have brought everyone together. Truly wonderful!

We arrived to celebrate a special family event, and were 6 adults and 3 children, staying for five days. I have rented many beautiful properties, but this is the first one that felt like a home, with every aspect of it made special. The interior is very spacious, with everything you would ever need to make a large family meal, beautiful pieces of art, artifacts. You could spend days exploring. The outside grounds are breathtaking - beautiful and well taken care of gardens, many shaded seating areas, a huge pool with a small pool kitchen, and more... There are two friendly and well behaved dogs on the grounds that we all fell in love with, including my son who is very cautious with dogs. The property is very well kept by the very helpful and friendly staff/employees who add the the homey atmosphere. And the location is as good as it gets in marvelous Provence, The description of the property in the ad underestimates it's beauty and function. I hope we will be able to return soon.

This is a wonderful wonderful place. We spend 2 weeks there with friends and family, renting both properties and didn't want to leave. It's big enough that you don't seat on top of each other even for a large group, there's a huge very functional kitchen. All bedrooms and bathrooms have very decent sizes. This is a family home so you feel right at home as well, it very simply and nicely decorated. Loads of books to read in the libraries which was great (in English, French and German!) The hosts were away but very easy to reach on whatsapp if we had any questions and there is a very nice caretaker on site and a cleaner that comes most days so we were very well look after. The property is very big with an incredible garden, the children could go on exploring for hours. The hosts recommended so many amazing things to do, including catering (you have to try the couscous by Zahra, it's out of this world delicious!), they have an extremely detailed guide books on everything useful in the area. I have rented a lot of places over the years and I spend a lot of time looking for the right place. When I found this place I thought it was too good to be true and until I actually got there I thought that maybe it wouldn't be real. It's beautiful inside out, a place with a soul and a heart. It's quite precious to find a place like this online! Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Mas d’Antan in July 2017 and can highly recommend it to anyone. I’ve stayed in many villas in Provence and this certainly counts amongst the most impressive. The grounds are huge and lovingly maintained; our children loved exploring them and putting on evening shows in the “amphitheatre” and collect eggs from the hen house, for our part we appreciated picking our own fresh vegetables from the garden. The mas itself is very rich in character and charm and is very well equipped for large groups. The pool area is perfectly set up, complete with a pool house and its own little kitchen. The location is peaceful yet not isolated - there is a boulangerie within one mile and Eygalieres, which is small charming, is surprisingly well served by shops etc for a village its size. The owner and all the staff (especially Loic) at the property were delightful to deal with, nothing was too much trouble and I felt they went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as fun and relaxing as possible. Mas d'Antan is a stunning country house surrounded by beautiful gardens, in a beautiful area of Provence. The house itself is presented immaculately and gives a real sense of country life. The rooms are very comfortable and each have their own character (as well as views of the beautiful gardens); in addition they are surprisingly cool even in July when we visited! The property is surrounded by perfect gardens as well as a large pool; perfect for our large group! The attention to detail is unbelievable, for example the pool house was stocked with everything you could need to enjoy a few hours in the sun! Our host was so welcoming and helpful! She was in close communication with us before and throughout our stay; she really couldn't do enough to help us make the most of our time here. We will definitely be coming back to visit again!
