Mas Renové XVIIe au coeur d'une Propriété boisée de 7 ha Piscine Sans Voisinage

This is our second visit to the property and will certainly not be our last. We love staying at Le Mas. The property itself is lovely; well appointed and so very peaceful. We come here to escape from society but in-truth you're only 10 minutes from the small local shops and 30 minutes from the nearby bigger towns. Can't wait to book our next trip!

My wife and I had a great week at the end of August with nice weather. The house is perfect, the owners are so sweet, helpful and charming. You live in the middle of your own arboretum with a lot of trees that surround a huge plot with a lot of small, marked and cozy paths into the forest so you can go exploring in the forest on your own. There is also a slightly larger path some distance away which leads down to Banne which you can reach on foot in 15 min. The house is characterized by the owners' perfection and great interest in that everything must be perfect and in accordance with nature and the original values found in such an old silk farm. However, modern comfort has by no means been compromised, but the charm and originality are at the same time intact and you enjoy sitting on the sofa in the living room and looking around the large, open space that previously housed a lot of silkworms. The kitchen is amazing. Nothing is missing. When you cook and look out of Muriel's new window, you almost feel like standing and looking at a painting with a fantastic view of the forest and the mountains in the distance. We also slept wonderfully in the very nice beds. When the weather was nice and warm we enjoyed sitting on the terrace and eating every day and listening to the birds and winds rustling in the treetops. At night, a starry sky reveals itself that you would not otherwise see. There is no light pollution, there is no noise and one is completely oneself and can enjoy the peace and quiet and each other. The house is perfect if you need complete peace and quiet, but at the same time is so close to everything that there are no problems in, both driving up the Cevennes or taking trips to the Rhone Valley. All in all, we had a fantastic week in Muriel and Fred’s house and can highly recommend it. Thank you so much for the cones - we look forward to making a wreath for Christmas. Nous avons retrouvé le Mas des Plaines avec autant de ravissement que l’été passé. La maison est toujours aussi bien équipée et agréable, le parc demeure un havre de paix. Le village de Banne à deux pas fournit (au moins) deux bonnes adresses de restauration. Encore merci à Muriel pour son accueil et attentions.

Une maison vraiment super, au calme avec tous les équipements qu’on pourrait attendre (et même au delà) Nos hôtes étaient à l’écoute et ont parfaitement préparé le lieu. Des vacances que nous n’oublierons pas entre parents, ado’s et jeunes adultes. Les environs sont très beaux et le terrain de la maison offre des nombreuses balades avec des vues sur un paysage somptueux.

Les mots manquent pour décrire la beauté des lieux, le soin apporté par nos hôtes à chaque détail pour que l'on se sente bien... Ce gîte, isolé et accessible par une route étroite est idéal pour une halte au temps suspendu au cœur d'un domaine arboré : balades sur les petits sentiers, bain d'arbres et dans la piscine, ping-pong, hamac, lecture, belles pierres, bel intérieur... Beauté, paix, farniente, confort... Tout simplement idyllique.

Un endroit magnifique, dans le calme et le chant des oiseaux, un mas rénové avec beaucoup de goût, équipé mieux que chez soi.. et un accueil en confiance.. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous reviendrons .

À l'arrivée, accueil très sympa et explications claires des propriétaires. Les maisons et la propriété sont magnifiques. Calme garanti en environnement forestier et montagneux. Environs riches (grottes, dont la grotte Chauvet, villages remarquables comme Balazuc, curiosités naturelles comme le Pont d'Arc...) De belles balades à faire. Nous recommandons.
