Massignieu De Rives: 19th Mansion with breathtaking mountain view

Beautiful house full of character with 3 separate outdoor seating areas. Quiet village with lovely surrounding countryside. 10 minutes drive to the Carrefour. Great base for walking, visiting Annecy and staying in for long lunches. Loved it.

Wir haben die Woche Urlaub im tollen Haus umgeben vom tollen Garten sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist ruhig und landschaftlich sehr schön. Der Ort selbst hat so gut wie keine Infrastruktur, aber mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell im Nachbarort, Belley, wo es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat. Restaurants haben wir nicht vermisst, da wir selbst gekocht haben.

Das Haus ist urig und es fehlt an nichts. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön angelegt und gepflegt, es gibt mehrere Sitzbereiche und eine neue sehr gemütliche Lounge. Der Poolbereich ist sogar mit einem kindersicheren Schloss verriegelt, was für uns perfekt war.

Zwei Familien aus 4 Erwachsenen, 5 Kindern und Hund haben hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Der Vermieter ist super, antwortet sehr schnell. Vor Ort wird er von einem sehr netten Hausmeister vertreten. Das Haus ist groß, die Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Aufteilung und Zimmer sind gut beschrieben und gemütlich. Alleinig die Matrazen (alle!) könnten erneuert werden. Die Außenanlagen und der Pool sind fantastisch. Empfehlenswert!

Nous avons séjourné ensemble à 3 familles dans cette très belle propriété. La communication a été facile et amicale tant avec le propriétaire qu'avec la personne intermédiaire sur place. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques et bien pensés, il y a plusieurs espaces : terrasse très bien exposée juste devant la maison, terrasse ombragée sur le côté de la maison et terrasse "suspendue" comme un balcon au-dessus de la piscine. Il y a également beaucoup de mobilier de jardin, confortable. La maison est aussi très agréable et spacieuse, on s'y sent bien. Un gros plus est sa fraîcheur malgré la canicule! Bref, nous recommandons cette propriété pour un séjour dans la région.

Ein traumhaftes Objekt in herrlich ruhiger Gegend! Unsere (hohe) Erwartung wurde tatsächlich übertroffen. Wenn denn nur der freundliche Weinbauer am Anfang der Straße sein Holzofenbaguette jeden Tag und nicht nur Samstags backen würde... Zum Weinkaufen selbst, ist man für gehobenere Wein in Jongieux besser aufgehoben und bei voller Belegung aller 6 Doppelzimmer wäre ein Zusätzliches Bad/WC noch das I Tüpfelchen

The house is in a beautiful setting with lovely views and close to the lake beaches at bourget. We spent most of our time by the pool and the fantastic outside area which was perfect for our group of friends and children. The pool was a little chilly at the end of August, but refreshing on a hot day. The house was clean with most rooms decorated in an older style with antique french furniture. Only downside was the bathroom set-up for a group of friends with 1 shower off 1 of the bedrooms, a bath off one of the bedrooms, 1 separate toilet and a shower room in the laundry area with its own toilet.

We had a super holiday at this place. The communication with Jean Louis was really clear, friendly and in English (nice for us non French speaking). The house was even better than the pictures. A really warm atmosphere with many places to sit down both in the Sun and shade. The pool was big, clean and well maintained. The area around the house is great for hiking, cycling etc. Overall we had a excellent stay and we hope to come back at this place somewhere in the future! Can realy recommend this place!
