MAZET ST REMY DE PROVENCE

We enjoyed our two weeks stay in this small sympatic country house just 2 km from the town center. The house was perfect for two people and a dog including everything you could need.

We had a lovely week's stay . The location was perfect for riding our bikes to St. Remy and good starting point for other bicycle trips in the beautiful area. The house was clean and well equipped. The large garden made it easy to find a shady spot to relax in. The one problem we had was finding the house using the Google location shown on the website. It isn't correct and being that the Mazet doesn't have a house number it was very difficult find. The road it is on is quite long. Luckily a very nice man living in the area called the owner and with her instructions lead us to the Mazet. It would be better to give more detailed information about the exact location. For example how far east is it from the D 27 . But besides this we had a delightful week.

Just returned from a wonderful week at the Mazet! My wife and I were met on arrival by Severine and her husband who provided a warm welcome and showed us around ("help yourself to tomatoes from the garden!"). The house is immaculate and has everything needed incuding an adjacent washroom with washing machine, drier etc. The garden is perfect, very tranquil and spaceous. The surrounding area is excellent for cycling with plenty to see (Van Goch, Roman ruins, beautiful Saint Remy etc) and just a 10 min ride to the boulangerie on the road into town. The house has an efficient AC, which was great on the hot evenings on returning from our travels, and a nice large flat screen TV for catching up with the news (we found BFM TV the best). There is a bus line to Avignon (the 57), we parked up next to the L'Argelier bus stop and took it there for the day (5.80 eur return). Canoeing is about 40 mins away, well worth trying out too. A very memorable holiday with so much to offer! Thank you! Perfect for 2 or 3 people, I would heartily recommend!

The house and garden were absolutely perfect. Very pretty, peaceful, well-equipped and with character. We love cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more). The shower is great and the bed comfortable. The terrace was a fabulous place to sit in the sun and we loved being able to come back to the calm and quiet after a day at the photo festival in Arles. We'd absolutely recommend a stay here.

excellent small house just outside st remy. very clean, well decorated, comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, lots of hot water, large television with french TNT stations - note no DVD player. large garden and outside seating areas. located on quiet countryroad, a safe cycle to st remy on country lanes. owner close by, friendly but discreet highly recommended for 2 adults or 2 adults plus 1 child - in my view too small for 4 people
