😊: We had a fabulous stay as a family of five! The house is truly a labor of love, built by the owner with great care and attention to detail. Communication with Loren was excellent throughout, and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Pascal, who was friendly and accommodating. Although he didn’t speak English and our French was limited, he used the Google Translate app, so language was never an issue. The house is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything you might need. It’s warm, comfortable, and located in a fantastic, peaceful setting. The serenity of the countryside—along with the view of grazing cows—is something we simply couldn’t get enough of!. 😢: Overall, there was very little to fault. I noticed some reviews mentioning that the rooster next door woke them up early, but for us, it wasn’t a bother at all. The house is well insulated and feels almost soundproof, thanks to the high-quality windows and shutters. The only practical consideration is the bathroom setup. If you're visiting as a group, keep in mind that upstairs there is only one toilet, located in the family bathroom.The en-suite has no toilet—just a shower, bath, and sink. Additionally, while both the en-suite and family bathroom have a bath, the only shower is in the en-suite, meaning we had to take turns using it, as no one opted for a bath. Additionally, note that one of the bedrooms while a double is small and had no store; it lacks of privacy due to window gap onto the corridor that is covered by curtains (but no glass). My teenager son was quite happy in the cozy space tho. Again none of these was an issue for us as a family, but it might be a bit more challenging if traveling with friends or two families..
