😊: The mill is in a beautiful countryside location with a large garden. It was so very peaceful. It has been refurbished recently so everything was fresh, clean and welcoming. The washing machine and tumble dryer were excellent and useful (we stayed 2 weeks), there is a washing line outside. There is a large modern cooker and fridge freezer. There is plenty of crockery and glasses. The showers were all good with plenty of power. It was no problem to use the downstairs shower rather than the bedroom one. As others have commented one is right in the room and whilst it was useful to have the toilet and sink there, we decided not to use that particular shower. The property have 3 showers to choose from so not a problem. The stairs have also previously been commented on. We thought them beautiful. They are as you see from the photos. My elderly parents managed them but carefully. I can see if you have mobility issues this would be tricky. The design of the stairs stopped our dog from coming upstairs which was useful. The gardens were extensive. Other reviews have mentioned they are not manicured but we loved the naturalness of them. It was lovely to sit out in the sun and read a book and we ate outside a few times. The location of the mill is excellent for getting about. We had a fabulous holiday with a mixture of visiting towns and getting out in the countryside to see nature. There is a lovely path around the reservoir/lake. Huelgoat is the nearest town and is charming. To get to the Mill, it was about 45 minutes to drive from Roscoff. The mill was excellent value for money. It was lovely they accepted us bringing our dog. We asked for an extra towel and it was brought straight away.. 😢: Personally, I love sloped ceilings but this was an issue for us in terms of safely moving around at night (there are bedside lights). The gardens are somewhat fenced but are alongside a (pretty quiet) road. We needed to always watch the dog rather than let her roam. We didn’t have WiFi as there was an issue with the supplier..
