My Collioure La Parenthèse - Sauna, Spa and Beach

😊: We never saw the property. This property was advertised as having on site parking. We booked it for this one reason only as Collioure is most probably one of the most difficult places to park. Prior to arriving I checked the same property on AirB&B only to find that on site parking does not exist. I also checked google earth. In communication with the proprietor he informed me that it was reasonable to leave our luggage at the property then drive a minimum of 50 meters where we may find parking. On reading other Air B&B reviews it became clear that parking was very expensive. This however was not the issue for us but is based around our age and my husband having a knee issue. The proprietor seemed to think he’d done nothing wrong in misleading us. If we wanted to find a property without parking we would not have booked this one as it is extremely small and has no air conditioning. There was no possibility of us being able to stay at this place. Through contact both with booking.com and the proprietor it became very clear that he would not agree to cancel the property and forego the cancellation fee(full cost of the rental). He did agree to a reduction of €20 euros. This person has extremely poor customer service skills. He has placed highly misleading information on the booking.com website. He also thought this was perfectly acceptable. Booking.com assured me there was nothing they could do about it as he had to agree the cancellation refund. I have used Booking.com for at least 10 years and spent thousands of pounds with them. I have never before left any negative review of this nature. My aim is for this person to rectify his advert and stop misleading other people. My advice would be to other interested customers is to skip this property and look elsewhere..
