😊: Bedrooms large and airy . Great location. 😢: No carbon monoxide alarm, installation of open flue boiler in manner that would have been classed as dangerous in UK. Don’t know French Standards. CO alarm is mandatory in France since 2025 to combat 100 deaths a year. Smoke alarm missing also mandatory. Went out and bought a CO alarm and contacted concierge asking them to reimburse cost whose reply was that they not had this problem in 4 years. See photos. So nobody burnt to a crisp and nobody dead or brain damaged yet. Also no handle on gas meter outside door so in event of gas leak couldn’t turn off. Other defects minor by comparison. Bulb missing from bedroom light. Kitchen prep area draining board of sink, No toilet rolls for use left, and no lids for old tired pans, no corkscrew for wine. Rusted fitting in shower room. General air of dilapidation..
