😊: Location. 😢: In the basement there is a night bar - it was impostor go to bet until very late midnight.

😊: Location was very good. Mid-way between the train station and the town centre was ideal for me. Being next door to such a beautiful park was an added bonus. So was the Irish pub downstairs! Kitchen was well set up with everything I needed. Bathroom, whilst not overly spacious, was very nice. The shower had excellent water pressure, which isn't always the case in France. I didn't need the washing machine this time, but it's very helpful to have access to one when you've been travelling for a number of weeks.. 😢: My only criticism is the fridge was a bit noisy. Its intermittent clicking was audible in the silence. I was able to sleep through it, but if my husband was with me I'm sure he'd have turned it off. However that would have melted my Häagen-Dazs, so I didn't :).
