La Grange is spotless, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, good wheelchair access and a super wet room/ loo on the ground floor. It's a lovely area of Brittany, new to us and a pleasant change from the more familiar Vannes, Auray, Carnac holiday region. The owners really couldn't be more helpful or more friendly. We're returning in September for our third visit, this surely speaks for itself!

Gites en Tregor, Lannion, Brittany, France - 17/9/2013 This is a very spacious self catering gite in the very north-west of France near the town of Lannion, Brittany. I'm a wheelchair user, and finding such excellent facilities for mobility impaired persons in France can be trying, and this is one of the best ones I've found. It has a most modern bathroom, toilet and shower room, with support bars all in the right places. A shower chair is also available, and is all en-suite to a double bedroom. There is an additional bathroom and bedrooms upstairs too. Access in and about the gite is all on the level, and the spacious living and kitchen area is more than you would ever need. Access to the kitchen sink though is into a corner spot and just doesn't work without stretching yourself. While a patio, picnic table and BBQ facilities outside makes for very relaxing pastimes in the sunshine, you also have the peace of the countryside all about you. The flowers and shrubs are all kept well and it just makes for the most heavenly spot. Our hosts Martin & Clara made us most welcome, and live next door should you need of any further assistance or guidance in the area. There's the local village of Ploubezre which has all your immediate catering needs. Lannion is about 10 minutes away, where I found endless disabled car-parking spots available. It is quite a hilly town in places, but down about the narrow old lane-ways there's some very good restaurants and café bars. But they're worth the effort with some assistance as French cuisine is renowned and is plentiful here. The town has great history and is evident by the many very old buildings still showing the construction styles of centuries gone by. For those who want to just go shopping, there's a wealth of very good shops and wares available too.
