New, modern chalet with a fenced-in yard and Wi-Fi

Très bon séjour et dépaysement total avec un accueil très agréable de la part du propriétaire des lieux. Situé à proximité de l’Alsace pour visiter de jolis villages typiques. En résumé un déplacement pour traverser la France (Poitou-Charentes vers les Vosges) qui a mérité d’être entrepris.

For a mountainbike holiday we found this stay through HomeAway for a very competitive price. Just off the season with good weather we really had a fantastic week . The cottage is fully equipped and is located along a main road that goes to Gerardmer . This road is not very busy so there was certainly no noise from traffic . Furthermore, you can use your car in any direction . The setting is truly fantastic and mountainbike trails we rode were all wonderful for cycling . For those who want to climb Le Grand Ballon , it is about 1.30 hours by car . This environment is a little higher and rougher than the surrounding of Gerardmer . I recommend this stay to anyone . If you want an active holiday and if you love nature then this chalet is definitely an option to consider.
