Nice appartement proche gare Near Basel Wi-fi - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: I’m giving two stars for the location and the owner’s cooperation with our cancellation and refund. But the apartment smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we had to sleep with the window open—even though it was freezing outside. We told the owner and Booking, and they did an anti-odor treatment while we were out, but it made no difference. We even tried a neutralizer ourselves, but nothing helped. In the end, we decided to request a refund for the remaining nights and booked another place. There was an ashtray just outside the apartment, though the hallway didn’t smell nearly as bad. On top of that, there was mold in the corners, and the cleaning wasn’t great. I hate leaving a bad review, but I really wish I had known what to expect before booking a week here..
