Nice Mansion with Swimming Pool in Sigoulès

Mooi huis en super ligging. Onderhoud aan het huis loopt wat achter. Inrichting gedateerd qua meubilair en stijl. Volledig privé als er in de woning rechts geen huurders zitten. Super grote kamers. Zwembad was niet verwarmd. Volgens mij is/was de warmtepomp defect. Tijdens week dat wij huurden ook geen extra chloor in de skimmers of zwembad gekuist. We hebben dit zelf gedaan. De laatste 2 dagen hadden we geen beschikking over de amerikaanse koelkast. we konden de koelkast van het 2de huis gebruiken 50m verderop. Lost van deze euvels hebben we een prettige vakantie gehad. Gewoon jammer dat dit pand een beetje aan zijn lot wordt overgelaten. de ontvangst en communicatie waren super met Mevr. Coudert. Kim

Zeer rustig gelegen voormalige wijnboerderij,met ruime kamers, zeer mooi uitzicht vanaf terras, zwembad verwarmd. Locatie grenst aan de wijngaarden. Zeer fijn wandelen in de omgeving, Bergerac op ca 12 km waar alle grote supermarkten te vinden zijn. In Segoules kleine supermarkt, pinautomaat en tankstation. Voor wie rust zoekt zeer aan te raden. Woonhuis blijft koel door zeer dikke muren.

+ très belle demeure entourée d’un grand jardin + calme total (si personne dans la seconde demeure voisine) + grande piscine chauffée + belle décoration, - uniquement acceuil en Anglais (mais nouvelles personnes qui s’occupent depuis cette année de la maison et qui vont essayer nous pensons de bien aider les locataires) - jardin non clôturé totalement alors que depuis 4 ans déjà les locataires en font la remarque. Problème pour chien et enfant - grande humidité dans la maison - manque d’entretien général pour de petites choses. Dommage car la demeure est belle mais devrait être plus entretenue (manque d’ampoules ou pas les bons formats , machines diverses non nettoyées, bâche piscine difficile à ......) - manque de penderies - la rivière mentionnée à 300 m dans le n’est pas accessible Cher propriétaire, vous avez une superbe demeure mais qui demande un entretien et révision complète plus enfin une mise en ordre de votre haie afin d’avoir l’intimité promise maison humide

Amazing big authentic house with private pool. We went there with our two kids and loved all of it. We were warmly welcomed and everything was in perfect state. We would love to come back here.

Lovely barn conversion that is typical for this area of France. It is well finished with one lovely double bedroom, a second less impressive (but entirely acceptable) double bedroom and a basic twin room. The bathroom is lovely and looks to have been recently upgraded to a high standard, and the living area and kitchen is modern and bright and well fitted out. The garden is enclosed and is a lovely atmosphere with a brilliant heated covered pool that kept the children quiet for hours on end. This area is a beautiful place to spend the days away and is quiet and peaceful. The village of Sigoules is less that 1km away (2 mins by car or 10 mins on foot down an unlit road), and the nearby Pomport Beach resort provides facilities to use for children at a small daily fee of €5. The house is perfect for a quiet retreat for families or couples and is close enough to keep you entertained with the nearby restaurants and amenities. If the second double bedroom and twin room could be finished in keeping with the remainder of the house this would be a superb addition and would be great for a travelling families (without one feeling like they are getting the poorer facilities). We were met by an elderly French man who was more of a 'helpful neighbour' than a 'meet greeter'. He spoke no English and looked like he had just finished a long day in the fields rather than was waiting to welcome us. The money we were supposed to pay on arrival for cleaning bed linen was not taken and therefore we went without the bed linen all of our stay (luckily we have family nearby that lent it to us) The lady that collected the cleaning money on the day we left, also spoke no English and as we handed her the money she simply got in her car and drove away....it was all a bit 'cold' and not in keeping with the wonderful stay we had enjoyed at the house. In summary, this is a lovely accommodation that offers superb value and comfort. Thank you.
