Nice Renting - MAETERLINCK - Idyllic Luxury Retreat in Cap de Nice Sea View

😊: Good location - pizza and supermarket close by. Great public transport links. Easy to get to town and visit other places. 😢: Found the bed very uncomfortable. The main shower did not work so had to use a hand held one (the bracket for this was also broken). Kitchen badly laid out - nowhere to prep food etc. sofa was stained and dirty. Balcony had a beautiful view but was too small to really use. On arrival we found previous occupant’s underwear in the washing machine. Could not work the TV.

😢: My overall impression of these apartments was negative. The most disappointing part was the towels and bed linen — they looked very old and had an unpleasant smell. In my opinion, this is unacceptable even for budget apartments, because these are the basic things you use when staying overnight. Cleanliness and hygiene are among the most important aspects of comfortable accommodation while traveling. I would also like to mention that directly opposite the apartment door there is a doctor’s office or some kind of reception room. Because of this, from early in the morning you can constantly hear people arriving and ringing the doorbell. As a result, it is almost impossible to get a proper rest or sleep well. There were some other minor issues as well, but they were not as significant, so I won’t focus on them in detail, although they also could have been better. Overall, my experience was disappointing. I believe that hygiene is a basic and very important standard for any accommodation, and these are not costly things to maintain properly in order to avoid situations like this..

😊: Very good apartment! Clean and fresh You will have all u need. Just in front of the supermarket as well. 😢: However there is a problem with a parking Every day it will be a little quest for u to find a parking slot in the area.

A 7-minute walk from Coco Beach, the best beach we've seen in Nice.. The bus station was right in front of the house, with Carrefour and a Lime bicycle station next to the building. We enjoyed staying in this apartment and highly recommend it.
