We stayed there with my wife and young daughter for a week. Pros: - Really good location to explore the area (plenty to do within 20min and close to a village with shop and boulangerie) - Great swimming pool, fairly big with great views - Really nice and helpful host, shared a lot of info on what to do in the area Cons: - Furniture a bit basic but functional - Kitchen was a bit tricky to use as not a lot of equipment (ie only one chopping board, not kitchen towel) and worktops are in stone which marks with pretty much anything so quite stressful to use - Views on the pictures on the ad is only from a small corner of the garden. Weed killer is being used on part of the garden which may be an issue for some customers I saw a lot of comments on the house getting hot if outside temperature is high. We did keep the living room windows and curtain closed during the day and we were fine, the house remained cool.

Agréable location, très propre et pratique, avec vue imprenable sur la vallée et le causse. La piscine avec vue sur la petite église est superbe. Les propriétaires sont charmants et prévenants. Une base idéale pour visiter Cahors, la vallée du Célé ou St Cirq-Lapopie.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, le gîte de part sa situation, est idéal. On ne se lasse pas de la vue, à tout moment de la journée. Le gîte est bien équipé et conforme au descriptif ; enfin les propriétaires sont sympathiques.

Owner could not do enough for us. Great Location. Lots of places to visit. Just wish we knew it a blank canvas and need to bring sheets etc. Lovely weather, good restaurants in 2 nearest towns

The property was a lovely, if rustically basic, converted barn, ideal for 4/5 people. Shares the owners swimming pool, although we had it to ourselves at all times, think the owners used it after 9 in the evening. Basic but fully equipped, but now with wifi!! Didier the owner very nice and helpful. Village has no amenities/shops, but St Gery, 5 mins drive across the river has a small shop, with most of the basics, boulangerie, and a small market on sunday mornings. For larger supermarkets you will need to travel to Cahors [20 min drive] Whole region is very rustic and rural, and a wonderful and spectacularly beautiful area. Things to do: St Cirq Lapopie - wonderful old village, but not much to do Rocamadour - Historic town an hours drive, very interesting and worth a days visit Bouziers - Riverside village with historic walk along the river tow-path. Beware of the bridge Grottes des Pech-Merle Need to book, we didnt as had used up all its visitors by lunchtime Cahors - again worth a day You will need to bring linen and towels, and a car

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed. The owners were very friendly and helped us along with out poor french. We loved the old building and the beautiful surroundings. The place was clean and tidy and very nicely decorated. Lot is an amazing region and we loved our days out and about exploring. Pool was nice but we were maybe a bit late in the year to get the full benefit of it.
