O' Coin du Beaufol - Two-Bedroom House

😊: Quiet and secure with a warm welcome from the host. The gîte was well equipped. 😢: It was all fine. Nothing to complain about.

😊: A lovely property in the middle of the French countryside. We chose this place to stay as it had air conditioning throughout, a swimming pool with fresh water and a large enclosed garden for our pet cockapoo - we were not disappointed. The host, Jonathann, was very attentive, he communicated with us via WhatsApp and met us on arrival to show us the property and how everything worked. He also left us eggs, jam and cucumbers from his own garden next door. There were lots of local towns and villages to explore and if you wanted somewhere busier then it was a 20minute drive away. This was perfect for us as we wanted to unwind and relax on the drive down before our main holiday, in the sun, on the south coast.. 😢: There is nothing with respect to the property that we didn’t like - we are very easy going though. ——— Sadly the weather was not the best and we had odd periods of sunny hot weather, but most of the time it was slightly overcast and/or cooler. This meant that we didn’t really get to use the swimming pool or terrace to sunbathe as we had initially planned..

😊: Where do I possibly begin with talking about this stay - other than saying it was one of the most perfect places we have stayed!! The location is perfect, far enough from any sort of hustle and bustle, but close enough to places to visit, shops, and of course - boulangaries! It was so peaceful and quiet, what more could you want? The property itself was amazing!! When we book other properties, we tend to have the same comments “it was nice but could have done with …..”. This time, there were no such comments. The space was perfect! Although it’s small, it’s big enough for people to have their own space. The beds were comfy, the sofas were comfy, the air conditioning worked, the shower was great, and even the tv was a great size. When we travel, having the ‘home comforts’ really makes a difference, and this place had them all! Which leads to the garden! And wow. Just wow! A key factor for us is a fenced in garden to keep our two dogs safe and secure, and not for one moment did we worry about them! They had ample space to wander and explore, all whilst we just relaxed. The location of the garden is comparison to the sun is perfect. If you want to sit in the shade all day, there is space. And if you want to be in the sun all day, you can too! It’s perfect! And this is before we even talk about the pool!!! For someone who doesn’t like pools too much, I spent an inordinate amount of time floating around and relaxing! 😊 And lastly, I need to mention the host who was just the nicest man ever! He was incredibly attentive and kind. He even remembered it was our honeymoon and congratulated us! He was on hand if needed, and responded to everything. You can tell he is proud of his property and it shows! He helped make our stay even better!! We have already booked again (and did so before we even got home!). Just a perfect, perfect, PERFECT property!!. 😢: Nothing!.

😊: A rural property, beautifully furnished and so close to the Sancerre vineyards and lovely walks.
