OCC34 - Capestang - Manoir

😊: Perfect location in the middle of the village. Beautiful rooms, wonderful house and ample space. Bathrooms lovely , and everyone had plenty of room .Warm as toast in the cold January weather, much appreciated. Rob the building's manager was so helpful when help was needed - Thank you!. 😢: Tiny details, but none that mattered really, as the building manager was so helpful during our stay. A loo that didn't flush, a couple of sad dead pigeons in the courtyard and washing machine outhouse( obviously the cold weather during our January stay), and possibly some towels in the downstairs loo would have been good, as well as for the kitchen a few more T Towels ( a week with 12 people cooking needed more than three!) But as I mentioned, nothing serious, and it was great to be in a place we could really relax in and feel at home..

😊: The location just near to the market square was a real plus avoiding the need for getting in the car to go to restaurants and the bakery. The rooms were really big with very high ceilings giving an airy feel to the place. The pool and pool area were clean and because the weather was good that’s where we spent most of our time. The fact that we could get all of the UK channels and Netflix on the television would have been good but we didn’t watch it much since the weather had been so good.. 😢: We didn’t like the idea of sharing the pool area and courtyard with another group from an adjacent property. Fortunately we didn’t have to because the other property was not booked during our stay. The whole property was tired and in need of decoration and repair. Some of the beds need replacing or levelling up where the floor is uneven. Initially there was some concern about the ringing of the church bells every hour but we all got used to it and even welcomed it. One of the sun loungers was broken and the table tennis net was broken and unusable. We replaced it but it should have been attended to prior to our stay..
