Open from 2/12/24. Apartment at the foot of the slopes, Oz resort, Alpe d'Huez

The Location of the property was great and very close to 2 lifts that take you directly to the Alp d Heuz ski area. The property itself needs upkeep. The curtains can not open and close. Most of the cups, mugs, soup bowls and plates are chipped. The kettle did not work when we arrived but the host send a new 1 the next day. The coffee machine jumps open when you brew a pot of coffee, meaning someone need to hold it in place until a full pot of coffee is brewed. If you do not do that then the coffee spills and does not go into the coffee pot. The pillows did not have pillow protectors and smells. The blankets/duvets are dirty and smell bad. It is possible that it was never washed since it was bought. We had to bring our own towels and sheets and duvet covers which was difficult as we travelled from abroad. When we arrived the oven was so dirty that we never used it during our stay. We had to wash most of the plates and cups again as it was dirty and sticky. There were 2 dirty towels on the bathroom floor which we had to dispose of. There were not even a dish cloth and washing spons. We enjoyed the location and tried to make the best of it.

A lovely appartment, everything works well. There is a bit of a draft/noise through the door, but other than that everything is fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped. Our family of four found it just the right size for us – two in the bunks, and two upstairs in the mezzanine.

This was our second year in this apartment. We loved coming back to Oz en Oisans (which is a fabulous resort for a young family). The owners are really helpful and made sure everything was organised for us. Everything is within easy walking distance and you can ski in and out of the apartment block. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

We had a brilliant time in Oz en Oisans. The resort is really geared up for families and each day there were free activities organised for our children to take part in. The apartment was very central, perfectly placed between the two cable cars. It is directly above a gift shop and two ski rentals. It is opposite a games room for older children and a bolongerie. The floor above, where the ski lockers are, gives you direct access to the kindergarten, another ski hire shop and is opposite ESF. There were a selection of restaurants and bars in the resort but not at all noisy, so ideal for families. The apartment had everything we needed, there isn’t WiFi but the resort has 4G. We will definitely be going back again.
