😊: Excellent location, adjacent to the Cathedrale and close to the ancient city, easy walk to the riverside and to parks, Place de Martroi etc. Cleaning left a bit to be desired, as it was dusty in some obvious places, such as on shelves, under the bed etc. Well-equipped kitchen, although for Brits a kettle and teapot would be useful! Large bedroom, with comfortable bed.. 😢: Disappointed to see no action had been taken following previous reviews about the shower. A simple thing like a shower holder higher up the wall would, as has been pointed out in a number of previous reviews, improve the showering process considerably. And a toilet roll holder would be useful in the separate WC. Little touches can make a huge difference! And-demonstrate some consideration of little details for guest's comfort. Access arrangements were clearly explained, but we arrived in the light. It may be a little more difficult locating the keybox if arriving in the dark..

😊: Great location!. 😢: It was quite dirty when we arrived, with a lot of dust around. There was also still toothpaste in the sink from the previous guest. In addition, we didn’t have hot water for an entire day..

😊: The apartment was in a beautiful Renaissance period house and it was exceptionally well located, just a stone's throw from the cathedral, both old & new town halls and the Place du Martroi main square. There was a handy supermarket right at the end of the street, and it was less than 10 minutes walk from the central station. The accommodation was spacious, and I knew exactly what to expect from the floor plan that had been provided in the original online listing. The whole apartment was extremely clean, and it had a crisp, modern feel in most rooms (perhaps less so in the bedroom) with an interesting unified scheme of fresco-style wall decorations in the living/dining area, inner hallway and bedroom. Bathroom possessed a good size bathtub, which is always an important plus point for me, and the toilet was entirely separate from the bathroom, which would offer added flexibility if more than one guest was staying. There was a full range of kitchen equipment which all worked well, including the microwave. Efficient central heating in all rooms (this really proved its worth, as my stay coincided with an early January cold snap!). A good selection of maps, local leaflets and guide books was available in the sitting room for guests to read and browse through. Prompt and efficient communications from host, with extremely clear check-in instructions. I was also given a couple of hours grace in checking out on the final day, as I was not leaving town until early evening. All in all, my 3-day stay in this property was extremely good value for money, given both its centrality and its spaciousness.. 😢: The bedroom was the least successful room. Its whole electric lighting scheme needed rethinking, and the minimalist-style window blinds were inadequate to shut out morning daylight. Bed had a relatively hard mattress. Some sort of bedside floor rug would have been nice. Whilst the living room was tastefully decorated in a modern sort of way (offset by the Baroque style mirror!), I'd have appreciated something eye-catching in the fireplace..
