Exceptional<br>#128578; The host made our stay a comfortable one,clean house,functioning amenities,spacious and a serene environment

Hervorragend<br>#128578; Wir hatten viel Platz im alten Haus und konnten auch endlich mal wieder selber kochen und waschen nach 2 Wochen Radtour. Die sonnige Nachmittagsterasse haben wir genossen. Die viel erwähnte alte Treppe konnte ich prima rückwärts runtergehen,<br>#128577; Sancerre hat sich leider zum negativen verändert seit wir vor mehr als 10 Jahren dort waren. Es gibt nur ein einziges Geschäft für Lebensmittel, das auch nur vormittags ab 9:30 frische Backwaren bietet. Das ist für Selbstversorger ohne Auto ein Problem- für die wenigen Bewohner auch. Der Ort besteht inzwischen überwiegend aus Ferienwohnungen und Weinanbietern.

Comfortable and well equipped accommodation...<br>#128578; Spacious accommodation. Interesting quirky features. Stairs were steep but a nice feature and managed fine by two 70 year olds. Well equipped kitchen. Easy parking slightly off site. Lots of cafes, restaurants and wine tasting experiences a few mins walk away from house plus good patisserie and fromagerie. Stunning views from the town. English host rang to check in and gave friendly, helpful advice by phone.<br>#128577; Would have liked to be able to see the amazing views from Sancerre from the house but we knew it was inside the town so were prepared! Extra pillows would be good.

Very good<br>#128578; Really nice place in Sancerre, quiet but close to the centre and with a parking place just around the corner. The place is extensively renewed and the bath rooms and toilets are really good. Sancerre is a really nice place to be some days<br>#128577; The only thing to say is that the old stairs are beautiful, but hard to use.
