Paris Les Halles : superbe loft sous les toits

My spouse and I loved the location of this apartment, which was ideal for accessing central Paris (and when I say that, I mean the Louvre, the legendary Stohrer patisserie, Nôtre Dame —though still under repair)! The check-in couldn’t have been easier, with the gracious Samuel coming to the building in about 5 minutes and showing us how everything worked. The apartment was largely as described, so we expected the loft and stairs. We were unprepared to find the loft divided up by beams, however. They were clearly structural, as this 6th floor apartment was under the roof, but it would have been helpful to know this in advance. We had to step over 2 such beams of about 2 feet tall every time we wished to access the shower. Our stay was nearly 2 weeks, so it became a little wearying. On the brighter side, the A/C was an absolute blessing, and is not always so easy to find in rentals, so we were very happy with that. All in all, a great stay.

The location is just perfect. Easy access to RER/metro lines, restaurants and market. The property itself is very spacious. The loft maybe a bit challenge for taller people. The property management team is also wonderful. This is my second stay at this flat. It will remain my first choice when I come to Paris.

Wonderful apartment. Great location for us. Able to walk to most of our destinations or hop on the metro. Would definitely stay here again.
