Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern (8 und 10) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist groß und gut ausgestattet, der Garten riesig und bietet mit dem kleinen Pool, der Tischtennisplatte, dem Federballnetz usw. und der Größe unendliche Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für Groß und Klein. Die Lage ist toll: man befindet sich im ruhigen Nirgendwo, gleichzeitig bietet die Gegend eine Vielzahl an Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Schlösser, Strände, wunderbare Städte, aber auch Kajakfahrten) und tolles Essen. Hinsichtlich der Gastgeber kann ich mich den bisherigen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Zeena und Rod sind unglaublich freundlich, überaus hilfsbereit, sehr herzlich und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich. Unsere Kinder vermissen Monty, den freundlichen und wohlerzogenen Labrador, auch heute noch sehr! Vielen Dank für Alles!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Zeena and Rod. They are the most welcoming hosts you can find. The garden is terrific. We enjoyed the pool, the ping pong table and just the overall outside space. But the inside is great as well. Lots of space and comfort. Good enquiped kitchen, comfortable living area. There is a lot of nice things to do in the area for us and our two daughters (9 and 11)

We really enjoyed our holiday at this lovely place. It is a big house (bigger than we judged by the pictures) with a well equipped kitchen and an enormous garden with lots of possibilities for sun and shade. The owners (who live in the adjacent farmhouse) are very kind and friendly people and very helpful when needed. And we all enjoyed their gentle and playful dog Monty!

La maison est très coquette et très accueillante elle est mitoyenne avec celle des propriétaires mais ça ne pose aucun problème, d'une part parce qu'ils sont adorables mais aussi parce que les jardins ne donnent pas du même coté ce qui fait qu'on a le sentiment d'être seuls au monde au milieu de la nature Nous avons passé 2 supers semaines, la région est très riche d'activités et le jardin est merveilleux nous recommandons vraiment cet endroit!

We really enjoyed our week stay. Rod and Zeena have thought of everything for the holiday makers both in and out of the gite. They greeted us so warmly on our arrival and provided us with the essentials for the first night, including cold beers in the fridge as we stepped out of our car! They have made the property a real home from home and the garden was huge and great fun for the four of us and some friends who came to visit for the day. Rod and Zeena were always on hand for questions and gave us recommendations of both beaches and towns to visit which was great. The photos do not do the property or the outside space justice as it more fabulous in real life! We had an amazing relaxing week. Thank you so much for making it a great holiday.

We had a fabulous stay at font robin zeena and rod couldn't have been more helpful , we were made to feel very welcome right from the minute of arriving up until the day we left , the gite was lovely, very clean and had everything you could want - even a cool bag to take to the beach! I would definately return to font robin again, we have made lovely new friends. I would recommend font robin to all my friends.

Had the most wonderful holiday, Font Robin is a very beautiful place with such a peaceful atmosphere. There is so much to do in the area, or just have lazy days by the pool which was lovely as even in the middle of September the temperatures where still in the high 20s and our hottest day was 36 degrees. Zeena and Rod are such friendly people and so helpful, nothing is ever to much trouble. The gite was all we could have wanted, well equipped with all we needed. But once you have been to Font Robin you will want to go back again, I am sure we will be back in 2015 and looking forward to it already, thank you zeena and Rod for a lovely time.

Font Robin is a truly peaceful place to stay and offers so much. We are a family of 5 with 3 offspring in teens and early twenties age group. The gite is very well equiped and extremely comfortable. We were spoilt for places to sit and relax, by the pool, the stream, the courtyard garden and the back garden which is huge. We visited Saintes with its Roman ampitheatre, the pretty coastal village of Talmont, Meschers, beaches, Royan and La Rochelle. We also spent a lot of time just relaxing and reading. Wednesday evenings at Jonzac are a must with food wine and live music. For the more active there is plenty of cycling along quiet roads although it can be a little hilly. The nearest town of Pons is pretty and worth a visit too. Rod and Zeena, our hosts were wonderful and made us so welcome and were very helpful about places to visit. We have already booked for next year, that says it all.
