PAVILLON DU GARDE CHASSE

😊: The location is beautiful. There is an orchard and lots of outside seating areas to enjoy. A good base for visiting nearby towns and the the lovely French countryside. Very peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with loads of storage. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area, very light and airy. The hosts Brigette and Bernard were extremely welcoming very nice people🙂. 😢: Stairs maybe a bit difficult for elderly people or very young children, but ok with care! Toilet downstairs..

😊: The house is beautiful and set in the most amazing grounds. The helpful host was in the adjoining house so was available if we needed any assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host's gift of apples from his orchard and walnuts was a thoughtful touch.. 😢: We found the seating at the dining table awkward - high stools and a high table which, as we are in our 70's we found difficult to navigate. This was the only thing we found on the minus side and is more our issue rather than the property's problem! Our stay was lovely otherwise..
