😊: Beautiful house in beautiful location! The host was absolutely wonderful too. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!.

😊: The house is in the tiny village of Anhaux, just an eight minute drive from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. There were only two of us but we really appreciated having a whole 3 bedroom house to ourselves in such a peaceful and pretty location, especially as we are travelling for 3 months in Europe and mostly in much smaller apartments or rooms. We thought it was a great location if you have a car, as Saint-Jean-pied-de-Port is very busy with hikers and other tourists. We were given a very warm welcome by our host Mirentxu and she very kindly left us some lovely local cheese and eggs from her own chickens, which was a lovely gesture. The beds and bedding were comfortable, it has a lovely big bathroom with walk-in shower and it was great having a fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook for ourselves. The patio area is lovely and has a barbecue (which we didn’t use). The photos provided show exactly how the house looks. We would definitely stay again if we ever have the chance to return to the area. Highly recommended!.
