Pays de la Loire-Gîte de Charme-Vignoble et Chateaux- Puy du Fou-Angers-Saumur

If you are looking for a unique place to stay in the Loire Valley, this is the place for you! The property is a converted farm building – although five bedrooms, it is really big with lots of living space and lovely courtyards. There was loads of space for us (seven adults and two children). It is in the grounds of a beautiful Château, so every day we would walk past the Château to the swimming pool, which is in a beautiful walled garden area, next to a rustic summer house with everything you need. The pool is the biggest we’ve ever had on a self catering holiday, and really well maintained. The area was great for exploring – you can go kayaking on the Loire, or visit the castle in Angers, or the surrounding vineyards. We had a lovely day trip to Saumur, and can also recommend the park at Puy du Fou especially for the children! Ghislain was so helpful and accommodating, we loved our unique holiday. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space for our 4 children and 6 adults. The swimming pool was amazing and very private with plenty of space inside and out for adults and children. The owner facilitated a chef for a couple of evenings which made our celebratory stay extra special. We cannot recommend La Jumelliere highly enough!

Située en pleine campagne, mais à moins de 6 km de 2 petites villes, cette grande maison est excessivement confortable et chaleureuse. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles. Piscine, balades autour de la propriété font parties des nombreux atouts qu'offre cet endroit calme et paisible. Nous vous le recommandons vivement.

We had a great time in the Anjou, on this wonderful estate. Spacious, authentic. Really very enjoyable.

Nous avons passé un court mais excellent séjour à la Faultriere. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillants. La propriété est vaste, très agréable et paisible. La longere est parfaite pour une retraite familiale avec enfants ou entre amis. Nous nous sommes sentis aussi bien que dans notre maison de famille!

We were a party of 8, 3 x adults and 5 children. The propoerty was spacious and very well kitted out. Lots of rooms to be together or split out. The style was beautiful throughout. We all enjoyed lots of time by the pool (once we got used to a few minutes of a walk, no big deal) or trips to Puy de Fou, Angers, local chateaus etc. Plenty to do. Plenty of choice of shops nearby. Nice restaurants also.

Avec 9 amis, nous avons pu profiter de la maison de Ghislain et passer un excellent WE. Ghislain et sa famille font tout pour qu'on se sente bien chez eux. Nous avons pu profiter des nombreuses pièces de la maison, ainsi que de son très agréable extérieur (la piscine chauffée est tout simplement magnifique) ! Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu pour passer quelques jours au calme :) Encore merci Ghislain, Flavie et ses amis.

Nous étions 5 couples d’amis et avons passé 4 superbes journées dans cette confortable longère joliment décorée et très bien équipée. Véritable communion avec la nature dans un très grand parc arboré autour du château . Très belle piscine chauffée. A recommander sans réserve !
