Peaceful Gite + PRIVATE Pool Exclusively for you +Magnificent Panoramic Views

I join in with the many positive comments about the 'gite', the landlady and the landlord and want to comment on the soul of that place. Whenever you want to become grounded, spend your holidays in "Le Petit Rossingnol" where you can listen to the nightingale in spring. You plunge into a world that got lost in oblivion. Suddenly you hear a plane, cruising in altitudes more than 10 km, because there is no backgrond noise except for some frogs in a pond. You can see a night sky with millions of stars because there is no light pollution except for a faint glow in the direction of Lannemezan, close to the Pyrenees. Between yourself and the mountain panorama of the Pyrenees you see wooded hills and when you search the woods for a house you will find one tiny roof far away. In a word: Forget about your psychologist, discover yourself again in a slowed down surrounding.

absolut tolles Haus mit Pool und super Panoramablick und perfekter Lage. Wer die Ruhe und Tiere liebt, kommt voll auf seine Kosten. Vermieterin ist sehr nett und sympathisch.Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt, bei Fragen stand die Vermieterin jederzeit zur Verfügung. Auch unser Hund war herzlich Willkommen.Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder :)))

Notre location nous a entièrement satisfaite, paysage à perte de vue, endroit calme. La météo ne nous a pas été favorable, mais nous avons tout de même eu la chance de voir la Chaîne des Pyrénées, c'était magnifique avec cette neige au sommet. Nous nous sommes rendus à Lourdes qui se situe à 1 Heure de route. La petite maison est vraiment l'idéal pour des vacances paisibles. Nous nous sommes rendus au restaurant "Les Arches de Préville" à Boulogne sur Gesse. Le repas y était succulent, goûteux, et de qualité. De plus au niveau tarif, très raisonnable. Si vous passez par là, faites y une halte, vous ne serez pas déçus. Tout était parfait pour ce séjour dans les pyrénées, dommage que le temps n'y était pas, car il y a de nombreuses randonnées à faire. A refaire si nous en avons l'occasion

We spent three very relaxing weeks in Lalanne, during which we were able to fully enjoy the exclusive location of the property in a unique French landscape. The house was ideal for a stay with our labrador dogs, who could roam freely on the property. Our stay was optimally supported by the very friendly and helpful landlords, so that we did not lack information and technical support. A stay in April is also highly recommended. Bad weather can always be compensated by great excursions. When the sun shines, the feeling of summer sets in immediately. To be honest, we would buy the property in a heartbeat!

Loved all aspects of our stay - great accommodation, fantastic location and views plus excellent communication with Gail & Ric - who couldn’t do more to help. Overall a really great time and complimented by superb weather. Loved it.

Beautifully located house. Uniquenplace and a lovely private Pool. Lots of information about the area. People who like peace and quiet hace come to the right place. The Pyrenees in annhour ( by car). Friendly hostess and nice , freindly dog. Definitely a house to come back.

En plein cœur de la nature....avec vu sur les Pyrénées 🏞️🌄 Excellente semaine...au calme . Idéal pour ce ressourcer....le plus , la belle petite piscine... Gail et son mari , les propriétaires absolument charmant 🥰... Une location à refaire.....c est une valeur sûre 👍

I like movies as "The Holiday" and "Love actually", exceptionally when one of the caracteres decided to go to France and write on his book! I wanted to try that too. So after a short Google search I found the area and then "Le Petit Rossignol" on the Holidu site. The pictures really caught my eye - and it is close to the Pyranees! Actually, when I woke up the first day the mountains were even bigger than I had imagined, and after a talk with Gail I drow down to Pic Du Midi. Amassing! The rural area is a little bit like in the movie "Chocolate" and the farmers drove around on the fields preparing for the summer to come. Also after a talk with Gail I went for a walk "in the neighbourhood" following the canal. Easy to walk and goes on for many miles so just follow it home again when you want. I also visited the small villages nearby. The lovely little house is so beautifully placed on the hill with an amazing view, and quiteness, so you easely can hear the birds sing. And follow the cows as the wander on the hills. The little gite had everything I needed, and the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee, and preparing dinner and so on. There is an DVD instead of Google Chrome and I really liked that. I also had the pleasure of a "fresh" april swim in the pool. I could imagine in summer it's nice to cool down in the heat. "Le Petit Rissingol" created some wunderful memories for me, and if you are looking for a place in the peaceful countryside of southern France this is definitely worth a visit!
