Perrot en Périgord : Charming stone villa with swimming pool

Fantastic converted barn on a beautiful property. Hosts were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The kids loved the goats, chickens and rabbits. Beautiful tranquil getaway. Could not recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay with Bettina and Christofe, everything from Check-in to welcome information was excellent and the villa had everything you could need.Comfy beds and sofas and beautiful gardens. Pool was large and clean. Would definitely stay again.

This gite was exactly as advertised. The pool was great, as were the surrounding gardens. The three gites each had their own section of garden, although there were no fences between them. Our hosts also kept a number of animals (goats, chickens, ducks, cats and rabbits) whichadded to the charm of the place.Inside, the gite was very well equipped and had everything we could have wanted or needed. Everything supplied worked! If considering booking this gite, I would recommend it but bare in mind that it is 15- 20 minutes from the shops in Lalinde and is surrounded by farm land. We found this charming!

Adorable converted barn surrounded by farm field and goats and cats. Just what we city folks wanted. We used it as a base for our Dordogne River explorations.

A lovely property, just as listed. It is out in the countryside and worked perfectly for our vacation.

We loved Perrot - a truly peaceful place, tucked away among fields of sunflowers. It has stylish, comfortable furniture, both inside & out. The patio & garden are the perfect place to relax, as is the lounge - great for cooler evenings. Bettina & Christophe are just charming. They could not have been more friendly & helpful. The information pack provided is so comprehensive & really useful. We used the bread ordering service, which works a treat! The house is well equipped & everything works well - showers, dishwasher etc. The double bed upstairs was a little firm for us, but that’s personal preference. Lascaux house is a wonderful place to base yourself. We only stayed 3 nights, but could easily have spent a week there, or more. There are so many interesting & beautiful places to visit nearby.

We are just back from our four week stay at PERROT. The property is simply beautiful. Our Gite was our home base as we explored this beautiful area, This is a perfect location for day trips to all of the beautiful villages in the area. You can reach all of the towns in an hour or less. The gite was the perfect place to come ‘home’ after a day of exploring. A beautiful three bedroom home, beautifully stylized, and complete with every essential. The washer/dryer means you can pack comfortably light for your trip. The pool and beautiful grounds are an added bonus. Bettina and Christopher were gracious hosts. Their knowledge of the area was so valuable as they were able to recommend the best restaurants and markets in the area. They were always available for any questions or needs we had. The ‘gite’ is completely private with its own yard, patio with table and chairs and umbrella, and lounging chairs for some quiet time in the backyard. I can’t thank Bettina and Christopher enough for the opportunity to enjoy our visit to The Dordogne in such a relaxing way.
