Pet friendly 2 bed house in Pleneuf Val Andre

La location est bien équipée et vraiment propre. On est à 10 minutes en vélo de la plage. Un petit bémol pour la télévision qui mériterait d'être un peu plus grande notamment pour regarder les informations. Les propriétaires qui sont mitoyens sont très respectueux et discrets

Stayed for a long weekend - accommodation excellent all very clean & hosts most helpful & friendly. Location excellent with an enjoyable stroll into Val Andre & the fantastic beach. Would not hesitate to go back again to both the area & the accommodation.

We had a great stay at the house and could do many activities and day trips from Pleneuf. The owners were very helpful and it's good to have them just next door. Definitely a place to come back to.

We stayed for three weeks and could have happily stayed longer. The house is perfectly located for an exploration of this beautiful part of Brittany. We were able to cater for ourselves or eat out as we wished and we enjoyed the local restaurants where staff are exceptionally friendly. Dave and Lynda were on hand to answer questions; they were very helpful, friendly and discreet. It was our first time travelling with our dog and turned out to be a great success. She was made welcome by our hosts, the next-door neighbour, on the beaches and everywhere we went, and gave rise to many conversations with local people. Everything is on hand, from supermarkets to a typical café tabac five minutes away. At the same time, the house is close to stunning wild coastal walks where you can enjoy unspoilt nature, and if you look up the tide times, you can walk across the causeway to a tiny version of Mont Saint Michel, the Îlot Saint-Michel. We also discovered the beautiful medieval town of Moncontour where you can have coffee on a terrace built into the ancient walls. It would be difficult to improve on this trip!

The cottage is lovely, very clean and well maintained, (that's why we chose it) but be warned!! We stayed for 1 week with our 2 dogs and a total of 4 adults. On leaving we cleaned out the fridge, cleaned the cooker/ BBQ etc, swept the downstairs floors, (we only allowed the dogs downstairs) as we wanted to remove dog hairs, and generally left the property in a good state. We fully expected the owner to be happy with all of this but NO! He retained a third of our deposit saying that the cottage needed extra cleaning time as we had left it in bad state, saying that the towels were very dirty (only one small bath towel per person for the week). Yes the towels were dirty as they were very well used, but that is no reason to withhold our deposit, a second supply of towels should be provided to ensure they're not so well used. He also said there were marks on the walls, we absolutely dispute this as we saw no evidence of this and no proof was provided before he took our money! We were aware of marks on the first step of the staircase, but that that wasn't due to our being there, we only did what any person would do when walking up the stairs?? Perhaps the varnish wasn't satisfactory?? We felt sullied by the remarks from the owner and now have a very bad view of the holiday, we live in a beautiful Georgian home which is immaculate both inside and out, I run a professional domestic cleaning company and am responsible for many prestigious homes, and would only ever respect a persons property. We are now going through the claim system to retrieve our full deposit, which is not how we wanted to end our holiday! So be warned!
