Pet Friendly Character Cottage at the Gates of Périgord

My husband and I and our 3 young children enjoyed 10 fantastic days holiday at Annie and Pierre's Gite in late August. They made us feel so welcome and accommodated everything they could, without being intrusive. The house is beautiful, extremely well renovated and well appointed with lots of style and home comforts. It is in a peaceful location without being too remote from the local area, as Riberac and Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne are very accessible, as is the river at St Aulaye and the freshwater lake at La Jemaye. The pool and garden were wonderful for our children and we used the barbeque virtually every night. In short I cannot recommend this property enough and we intend to stay again next year to see Annie and Pierre again as they were such kind and hospitable people.

We loved our stay in this house. It is located in a rural area, but with easy access to Riberac, which has got all amenities and a lovely market on Friday morning. Pierre and Annie were very welcoming and gave us a lot of local information, but at the same time respected our privacy. We enjoyed the river, where we went on canoe trip, we visited Bordeaux, and caves with pre-historic paintings. The pool was the cherry on the cake. We would love to visit again.

Séjour paisible dans un gîte de qualité à la propreté irréprochable. Nous avons passé 2 semaines inoubliables dans ce gîte au grand comfort. Annie et Pierre, les propriétaires très chaleureux, logent juste à côté du gîte mais sont très discrets et sont aux petits soins à tout moment. Un service impeccable est offert par eux, même un apéro sympa pour faire déguster des spécialités du coin (foie gras, Pineau des Charentes, ...) faîtes maison. L'endroit idéal pour nous, difficile de trouver mieux quand on a des chiens. Ce qui est aussi exceptionel est que chaque chambre à coucher dans ce gîte est munie d'une grande salle de bains avec toilettes. Le gîte même est très bien entretenu et qui plus aussi est le linge de maison fourni et les lits faits à l'arrivée. À l'extérieur on trouve une très grande piscine très bien exposée et un très grand jardin clôturé où notre fils et les 2 chiens ont bien profité. Le gîte et les environs sont très calmes, donc idéal pour se reposer. Un lieu vraiment à recommander !! Merci Annie et Pierre
