Pet Friendly Farmhouse for 8 People

Très belle maison, spacieuse, immense terrain, magnifique jacuzzi ,piscine TOP . Propriétaires charmants ( bien qu'anglais :-) et extrêmement disponibles. Je recommande vraiment cette maison.

We have just returned from a week staying at the traditional Farmhouse in Villetoureix. We went as a family of 6 (3 couples), a 6 month old baby and a dog. there was more than enough room for us within the house and living areas. The pool was lovely and very safe, we spent many an evening eating out on the patio and having the access to the large jacuzzi was fantastic! The selling point for here is the pizza oven, it was great and really made the holiday! It is in a lovely quiet village, within close proximity to Riberac (5ish mins in the car) which had large supermarkets, pastry shop and lovely restaurants. We had a drive over to Brantome, Bourdeilles, Bergerac and visited the market in Riberac. It is located really well to visit the Dordogne region. We also ate at Restaurant Aux Delices de la Treille in Montagrier (15 mins drive) which was lovely food and wonderful views! Whe had an excellent time at this house. Especially due to the Corona virus, it was very nice that entertainment could be found around the house (spa, sauna, swimmingpool, badminton, table tennis, etc.). Owners John and Lesley were very welcoming and showed us around the property when we first arrived. They are very helpful if you have a problem or question, just ask them. About the house: it's a large and quirky house, some doorways were a little low for us though so mind your head 😉. But the house has everything you need - even a big screen TV with English and French channels. There is Wifi, but the signal wasn't always strong enough. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here and it's very possible we would consider returning here with a larger groupe.
