Pet Friendly Gite With Pool Garden Room Near Estuary

Corinne and Olivier are lovely hosts and very helpful! We had a lovely stay!

Sue I have just returned from an idyllic stay at this property - our hosts were perfect, offering help/information/advice when asked ….. yet remaining in the background at all times. The accommodation is perfectly situated for exploring the entire Charente-Maritime area. A great many kilometres we’re driven, but it was definitely worth it. Blaye, Royan, La Rochelle, Jonzac, Cognac and Bordeaux were just a few of our destinations …… all were beautiful and oozing history. The local town of Mirambeau may be a sleepy place, but there are a couple of welcoming cafes to wile away the hours people-watching ….. plus, there’s also a couple of eateries for those evening meal treats. Regarding the accommodation ….. everything you could wish for is provided, and the 20m pool was used tirelessly by Mrs C. Anybody thinking of getting away to solely recharge their batteries, this is the place to stay. It may not be as well-known as the Dordogne, for example ….. but it has its own gems that are definitely worth seeing. We had a great holiday. Corrine and Olivier know what hospitality is. The cottage fully met our expectations, nice and quiet. The pool and garden were lovely and the area quiet but beautiful. Highly recommended!!!!

Excellent accueil de Corinne et Olivier toujours très présents durant notre séjour. PS : Regrettons de voir Abritel relancer énergiquement le paiement du solde du coût du séjour plus d’une semaine avant la date d’échéance prévue dans la réservation.

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, die alles enthält was man braucht. Der Pool und der eingezäunte Garten sind einfach toll. Schöne Liegeplätze rund herum. Corinne und Olivier sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Es fehlt an Nichts. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We stayed for a week really wasnt long enough! This place is amazing thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gite. The location is great if you are wanting relaxation and quiet or heading out into the local towns and is about an a hour or so from Bordeaux in one direction or La Rochelle in the other! Pool is great after a long hot day ! Corinne and Olivier are lovely hosts always theres with help and advise if you need them Would definitely recommend and hopefully return in the near future

A lovely peaceful get away. Lovely countryside and so peaceful. The pool always looks inviting, especially after a hot day sight seeing. The hosts are lovely and helpful. A pleasure. Thank you.
